yes 8 episodes and season 2 will be completely different actors, story etc. apparently if you watch closely enough you can get 85% of the story from just the first episode although I think you would need to have a Stephen Hawking level of intelligence and a deep interest in Weird Fiction like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_in_Yellowanyway, enjoy!

9.5/10 on IMDB. Sick cast. Adding it to my watch list.

I can just about move a touch quicker than Hawko, but I don't think there is any danger of me pushing Once I saw there was only 8 episodes of the first season, I decided to wait it out and binge it over the weekend once it's over. Is that only 8 episodes ever, or season 1? I'd google it, but spoilers innit. It's going to be a bit like Underbelly, in that each season will be a completely different story with new characters etc.

Hope Mrs Shoelace doesn't have anything planned for tomorrow She is away for the weekend. Hence me being allowed to have watched them in the first place.

Is this the British or American series? I understand Kevin Spacey is doing the American version.

I am two episodes into HOC season 2
Anticipation for next week is huge.
Spacey wonderful in it
British House of Cards is well worth catching....ahead of its time for political satire
