Just finished watching Fargo, thought it was really impressive. Looking forward to season 2.

The 'this is a true story' line at the start of every episode made it difficult not to wiki it before the end of the season but just about managed it Cheesy

Watched 'The Detectives' on BBC 2 - a 3 part documentary situated within the the Serious Sexual Offences Unit in Manchester.

Real insight into how these sort of cases progress from start to finish. Absolutely captivating, moving at points and really well put together.

One of the most interesting shows I have watched on the BBC in a while.

None of it was actually true, that was just a Cohen Brothers trick. Loved all of Fargo, Season 2 looks very promising.

Spoiler alert? Having not seen the film it was a pretty good sweat at the end of the series to see if any of it was actually true

One of the great underrated British sitcoms, loved it. The best two episodes are both on YouTube

Think it was mentioned by Dave Shoelace but Peter Kay's Car Share is class.

Not hilarious but really clever and very easy viewing just before bed. Episode 5, which I watched last night was best by far.

Entourage is on Sky On Demand.  Couldn't help but to start watching it again. I don't think I'll watch them all again but it was a  cracking show.

Not quite as good  as seasons 1 and 2  IMO.

Will be interesting to see where season 4 goes next year

poverty porn.

all these programmes such as benefit street, roma gypsies on benefit, cant pay we take it away, evictions are us etc. pretty sure these are just to make people gloat and laugh at those in an unfortunate position.the only people they seem to show is the full time pisstakers who only want to milk whatever they can get.

i was going to start a thread but pretty sure it would just fade out to bottom of page so i decided to post here.

i work long hours to pay my way,but i have spent years on benefit when i was younger, and i really regret how much of my life i wasted. that does not mean people should make these crappy, ill informed programmes.

all they do is paint a significant section of the population in a way that is generally quite far away from reality.
