Why do the commentators keep going on about teams not wanting to lose their opening match?  Surely they don't want to lose any matches, and I'm sure they don't play any more defensively in the first game compared to others.

The ball is wierd A kid had 1 last nite ,

I know i havent played for a few years but the ball feels so spongy,didnt feel like a real football.

Everyone should at the moment. Crazy start to the WC.

I honestly don't understand why players arnt just shooting from midfield constantly testing the goalies.

On a side note the Nigera and Ghana have both impressed in their matches; makes me think that the Ivory Coast might fare well too.

A lay of Germany for me @ 1.61 - think I might just lay every big team in the group stages (except Brazil) as there'll probably be enough draws and 'shock' defeats to make it profitable. Brazil never seem to struggle though - they always seem to breeze through their group.

Yeah, cheers mate. 2 nil now so the H T/FT looks a cert and the -1 is looking good just want the germans to score 1 more and not conceed now.
