I've never in my life heard anyone with any betting knowledge say anthing like 2.56/1.
It's either 3.56 or the equivalent fraction,you can't be mixing the two imo.
Anyway on Spain @ 1.56 and Ivory Coast -1.5 @ 2.08
You mean 0.56/1 on Spain....  this is exactly how it was written up when the on course bookies were trying out decimal odds a while ago...It was a bit of a joke IMO. 1.75896/3.141 would be more fun. |

Good,and Spain got the job done for me tonight as well,been a very good group stage for me. For the outrights I am on Spain,Brazil and Argentina from ante-post with scaled bets based on their price and their chances imo. Brazil will give me a 72% ROI,Argentina a 71% ROI and Spain a 88% ROI from total staked on the outright market. I'm also breakeven on England winning. Lets go! |

Had my first bet on the world cup today since the first round of group games. Got on Brazil to win the lot at 4/1 before todays games kicked off. To me they look the most complete team and also look like they have a few gears to step up yet should they need to.
Most of my other bets look unlikely now, best of those left are each way top scorer 5 places 1/4 odds at 66/1 on Forlan, England/Brazil Final, and Van Persie e/w top scorer 1/4 odds at 16/1 (granted this is probably the least likely of those still running).

Good luck. I was going to back them before going to bed last night @ 1.96 but wanted to have more of a look,obviously price had cut first thing this morning and I think the value is gone somewhat. Even tempted to lay them now @ 1.85 but just going to leave it alone,sit back and enjoy it instead. |
