I've ordered the Sensation XE. Should be with me on Weds.
One thing, is there a program like iTunes that Android apps use? I quite like iTunes despite the haters and find it handy for organising what goes on and comes off my phone.
Try
Doubletwist
....it reads your music and playlists from iTunes and copies them to your phone. You need to download the program to your PC/Laptop and install the Android app.
It's free....
...although if you want the
wireless
syncing you have to pay for the Airsync app...otherwise just use a USB cable.

Looks great thanks, in fact it looks exactly the same as iTunes - have Apple sued them yet
Is there a Betfair app? edit:nm, found it on the Betfair site. Strange that it didn't show in the Android market

just as good for reading e-books/pdf docs? Or is it a bit harsh on the eyes?

Phone's too small for me to read on, I'm constantly scrolling, don't like it.
When good old Ice Cream Sandwich (and future software updates) gets released, do we get to upgrade free of charge?

There's a kind of symbiosis between the phone makers, carriers, and Google. They put Android on their phones, Google doesn't go around making it easy to upgrade your phone to the latest edition of Android, which encourages people to buy new phones, keeping the makers/carriers happy.

Then there's the HTC Edge or Zeta rumoured to be coming out next year (maybe):

Received the SII today, should I be kicking myself I didn't wait 24 hours?
??
Wouldn't worry. My HTC Desire is still working well and it's a two-year old phone now in terms of the technology. I'm sure the SII and the Sensation will be more than adequate for a good 12-24 months. It's the same with smartphones as it is with computers, the best time to buy is 6-months after you buy yours...

Deals are available on O2, Vodafone and T-mobile as well for about the same sort of deal.
