Grats Patrick, Bitcoin is down 38% v US Dollar so leave well alone in my opinion

Buy high, sell low, yo.

I'd just avoid it because it is an inherently worthless bag of shite.  See many previous odd asset bubbles eg.

Hand Analysis

Yesterday I got HU in the 250 6max event on Stars.fr. Prior to HU I had 4x pot jammed 5 high on k3398 and shown and then been to showdown where I had been bluffing alot. On the final I had something like 300k out of 600k in play with 5 left.

I frustatingly lost a few pots then got HU vs a player who I thought played well and was good. He was from the UK, I said "gl" and he said "gl Patrick" I asked him who he was but he wouldnt tell me, I told him if he told me Id chop it with him even though I was a slight chip leader but he didnt want to say.

HU was very interesting, we were both 3betting quite a lot, whenever he changed his sizing or when the blinds went up and he chose a sizing I imitated his sizing trying to play exactly the same as him, almost robotically but with the intention of winning a levelling war. He took a chip lead through raising and cbetting and I gave up alot with non equity hand. Here are the last 2 hands of HU that were Back to Back, obviously.

Pre flop

This was my 2nd 4bet of the match, my first one was a bluff (obviously) but he folded even though I used this incredibly small sizing. I used this sizing again this time thinking hes never ever going to fold to this price but he was 3betting at such a high frequency that if he peeled I felt very good about it, if he went all in I think I have the nuts vs his range (expecting him to 5bet call almost always) and if he clicks it back theres room to jam too. So basically I 4bet without a plan, but any of the outcomes work perfectly fine for me.

Flop

I think flop is interesting, he currently had momentumn in the heads up match, so whilst checking here could be good I think betting and taking a biggish pot down and evening stacks back is pretty important. He also shouldnt have a c-r range for value and I can potentially improve in equity or in barreling spots.

When he check raises he represents absolutely nothing. Im almost sure he has a hand that doesnt want to fold because he thinks Im FOS, but cant commit to calling multiple barrels. Perhaps a hand like j9s with back door flush draw that he 3bet and didnt want to fold both post and pre.

Turn

Turn doesnt make too much sense to me, Im not sure what he has right now but a hand like j9s, jts, 9ts still feels very likely and Im prepared calling turn and calling any river except an 8-9 and maybe ten.

River

He checks river and because of SPR I actually contemplate jamming for value just incase he turns up with some kind of jack high that wants to be a hero as Ive shown down so many insanely high variance bluffs on the final table that hes just OI and puts me on all the draws. Eventually I just decide to check down and win vs A5ss

This was an important part of the match, I felt like momentumn was massively in my favour now and theres a very good chance hes tilting pretty hard.

Hand 2

Pre Flop

Pre flop is pretty standard, its going to flop and play incredibly well.

Flop

On the flop I represent nothing by c-raising, its such a drawy board and because of the game dynamics (this is the immediate next hand) it may feel like Im just trying to play like too much of a hero and bluff-hero him too much so I decide to go for thin value. I think he calls every Kx, every Qx and potentially piles all draws whilst hero 3betting or floating as hes just tilted and doesnt want me to have full momentumn.

Turn

I size the turn like I am trying to see a river card for cheaper. If I have a nutty hand surely I will try to set up a river pot sized shove. Here I have left it as 1.3x SPR, any good player will think Im not trying to set up a river value jam and will put me on a draw. This is great for me though as Im trying to be one step ahead and value jam 1.3x with my value range to level him, he calls.

River

The diamond comes on the river and I overbet jam, the draws have came in, but still a lot has missed, I could be just going completely berserk and because of my image I am always expected to have nothing. The main thing for me is I think he would just tilt jam the turn with diamonds because of my "weak" bet (if he has bad diamonds) and if he has combo draws or NFD I think hes just say lets go on the flop and get it in. He should never really have me beat now, I expect him to raise 2 pairs earlier and the 2 doesnt really complete many likely 2 pair combos so whilst this may look like a bad river card its actually a pretty good one.

I jam and he calls with q9.
