Nice result, went rather dead at the vital stages what I watched.
Was me and cardguard who bought you in that GUKPT side event many years back and JJ Hazzan bust you near the bubble when you got frisky on the button lol... glad youve saved up enough to pay in yourself now :0)

6th for $42k, was super card dead, think played pretty well. Made good fold with JJ to 3bet and he ended up having aces so felt good about that. Probably do big grind again today

Love it when I see you have updated here. Absolutely superb reading when you do a tournament update.
They makes me want to play, and then makes me realise why I don't, all in the same post
Well played, and unlucky.

7th for $55k. Not the result I wanted but think I wouldn't have changed much, one interesting hand
https://www.boomplayer.com/26070841_C6E0B8C330
I think I'm just going to get to the river so wide with so many hands and hes good enough to find his appropiate bluffs (fish2013) the way the combos are theres very few combos of value hands left (1 a4/ats f/e) was very important pot, i either go 1/10, 9/10 or stay 5/10.
Had lots of really interesting hands that I assume I made the correct decisions in, so can't complain.
Theres another 10k tomorrow but its PSKO, kind of annoying as I really just don't enjoy the format at all.

Well done. I saw you play one hand where you limp the CO off about 25 bigs and Linus rips for pretty much the same stack and you snapped him off with j10hh and got there vrs his a3dd. Is it just a maths thing where J10hh does well vrs his range there? Also, why don't you open? Because you cant call if someone rips? Otherwise, I'm lost
Also, whats the plan if someone 3x's you?

hey, yeah we don't want to r/f jts, but limp/call works out a bit better.
if i raise off 20bbs and he has aces he jams or calls, he jams tt, jj, qq, kk, when i limp and he has these hands he wont jam them.
if somebody 3x i just call

I thought so, interesting. It's something maybe I need to adopt into my game. Like when you open j10s he rips 22-aa and maybe j10 kq type hands and you cant call and j10 doesn't realise its equity vrs those hands.
However, you say you limp call a 3x but you also kinda say that oppo will have a much stronger range when they do this. Doesn't j10 lose money vrs a much tighter range especially with such shallow stacks 25 bb eff oop?
Cheers for the reply

Good/Frustrating day at felt today.
This week had been amazing
8th in London Grand finale for around $20k (£200k ftw)
4th in 2k for $42k, heaps for first
7th in $10k for $55k heaps for first
3rd in daily $530 for $11k
I had had so many runs and just feeling great about game, decided to play only 4 tables.
2k 6max, I was chiplead for most of the tournament but then bubbled for huge pot J9s vs A9s on A989x
7th in Daily 530 for $4k
5th in $1k rebuy for $22k
Not really tilted at all or thrilled, feel amazing about how I'm playing, in tournaments thats kinda how it is though, you can have a $100k week or whatever and still be sad not to have gotten a gold medal.
Will take tomorrow off (maybe last minute flick in the $5k) and then be ready for big Sunday.
