It's interesting you call a raise, then call a chunky 3 bet with it after initial raiser has folded. What reads are there on 3 better?
After doing that, I would be interested in hearing the theory behind having a raising range on 78qr.
Its the kind of flop, especially with pre flop action, we shouldn't really have a raising range.
The only way it would seem to make sense would be if you have a specific read on villian.
Calling 3bets because people play bad.
Raising the flop because people play bad.

The only bluff really is 910 suited, versus the vast majority of value hands. It's quite unbalanced / playing face up ( if versus a good player).
-----------
Going back to pre, at these levels, it would be very interesting if someone would play monsters this way pre (just calling a raise pre) as there must be a lot of squeezing going on.

If it was anything other than 77 or 88 I'll go out and buy a hat for my supper.

That is THE most amazing thing, Patrick.
Reg opens to 120 mp, I flat mp, sb flats, 40 makes it 705, reg folds, I call, sb calls.
Flop Q87r
he cbets 1200, i make it 2900, he makes it 6800 (from 8k)
Jaywalking - I'm afraid, for better or worse, they don't mess about over here as to jaywalking, no warning, you get caught, you get fined, end of.
Odd really, not sure the offence even exists in the UK.

Busted 250th today, 1200 came back and 7000+ started, so very deep run, but no dice at the last stage.
Bust out hand wasn't really interesting. I open 12,000 at 5kbb, button 3bets to 37,000. I have T8cc and ofc call.
Flop J92cxx, I check, he bets 40k, I shove 160k, he has AJ. Turned
but too many outs otr.
Was very happy with how I played throughout, was very focused and played aggressive throughout. Made one pretty big mistake though I think.
I defend bb QTo vs active woman who went 10,500 at 4kbb.
Flop AJ5ccx, I c/call 11k
Turn AJ54ccxc check check
River AJ54Jccxcx I bottled 2.5x pot jamming the river putting her all in which I think is very clearly the best play in hindsight. I wasn't really holding back in any spot though, so not many regrets, should have just taken this one spot, not sure why I didn't really.
Table was completely insane, definitely toughest table in the room, one of the toughest tables this summer I would imagine.
Seat 6 Hummy Lun

Seat 9 Some good pro

Seat 2 Tom Hall
Seat 3 Middy
Seat 4 Jordan Cristos
This was in the millymaker
:D
Probably skipping the $1K PLO tomorrow, and get really prepared for the $3k 6m on Tuesday.
Video blog in next few days.

Last week has gone pretty great. Think I played two tournament ($3k 6max and $3k PLO 6max) but have been on probably biggest cash heater of life up good 5 figure amount. Unfortunately the games I'm playing in aren't accessible in casinos so can't speak about them in much detail at all :/
$3k 6max I busted 88 v kq
$3k PLO I busted with pair + sd + fd to busy and also lost AAhhcc on kj75hhcc
No complaining at all though, really loving life. Good to start Vegas with big upswing rather than chase losses but also does mean I'm less motivated to grind 1ks and 1500s which are good value because my hourly in the private cash games have been so great. This week is 5k 6max and 10k 6max which I'm really looking forward to.
we have been super healthy so far, we've been to the gym every day, starting to play Rawuetball which I'm terrible at, but it's great for stamina and cardio. Football team had our first game last week.
Our team was
Byron Kaverman
Tim Adams
Dnthnrnepls
Matt Waxman
Tony my house mate
Tobi123456
Saniker I think
And a few others
We played Negreanu/Donnie peters / deadmans team. We were winning 6-1 at half time and then finished 9-5 or something. Another game tomorrow night by couple of our best players missing.
Going to cinema with Marvin now to watch "now you see me 2" haven't seen the first one, so let's see how it is.
Somebody bumped into me today and said hey man love your blog thanks for writing and then just rushed off. I always really want to speak to people who have read this over the last couple of years, please always stop and chat for a while!

Glad that time between posts is because of an upswing, and not because of a downer.
Hope it continues mate!

Cash game heaters are all well and good, but some people (me included) have you in our Fantasy WSOP teams.
