So couldn't make it down to Nottingham for 10k but there now to play the millions day 2 ( Thursday )

Played online on Monday and Tuesday. Monday got 2nd in the Party HR for 9k + xbook and also won a $2600 seat to the $25k on Party Poker which should be really cool and today had lots of really great runs and stacks but went 1/6 in 320 6m to 4th and 1/8 in 215 party to 6th. Unfortunately Darwin won the Party 530 so lost a little back in xbooks. Really fun betting vs them, all three of us have huge stacks because we're all aggressive (punters!) there's actually very few min cashes but always a sweat.

Funny story from last night. I write Lena 1 minute before Party 530 turbo and tell him only two entries count. He said how about all three? I said ok as long as we both take three otherwise only two count... 3 hours later he wins it for $10k+ and is insanely tilted Cheesy

No more online until Sunday and then it's Marbella on Monday for the bitB Bootcamp. Should be fun.

22+ Ax+ K5s+ K10o+ Q6s+ QTo+ J7s+ JTo T7s+ T9o 96s+ 86s+ 76s

Ato would be a very marginal jam.

HRC disagrees - why is it so far off in this spot iyo?

I can only assume you're referring to ICM here but you are and the short stack are so close in BBs I wouldn't have thought it was such a massive influence to make A10o a 'very marginal' shove from the button with 15BB. However you are a better MTT player than me and would appreciate your counter argument Smiley

Not sure about the value of these individual icm calcs anyway. Don't we need fgs*100 for it to truly be worthwhile?

To add to that I'd suggest that having such a skill edge (as BiTB) means that we need to be taking less marginal spots.  If we are casino rec that luckboxed our way to this stage then we need to be taking every fine edge (and maybe wider).  Almost like the example of:

If you get to flip 50.1% versus your Grandma in a HU match, you turn it down.  If you get to flip 50.1% versus Sauce in a HU match, then you take the spot.

EDIT: this is shamelessly ripped off a RiO vid ;-)

i get that, but we have 15bb on the button with A10. Going to be hard to get a fine edge from that

It is when grandma folds all boards she misses / has a suspect three bet shove range ☺️

The Marbella bitb bootcamp was simply amazing, really, really, really loved every second of it.

You can find some pictures and videos under the hashtag bitBbootcamp.

We had guys from so many different countries come to meet the guys they speak to every day behind their computers. Young guys flying from Brazil for 5 days of study is super motivating and makes everything worthwhile.

We studied hard every single day, at least 6 hours of content for the whole week.

The first night everybody who hasn't been to a bitB staking meet up had to do an initiation song, 30 seconds - 2 minutes of freestyle singing, was really fun and everybody took it in the right way.

We played the first of MANY games of Mafia, we played a tonne of Fifa, outdoor football, kareoke, table tennis, swimming etc etc

I won't go into what content we did, but I think everybody who went has improved as a poker player and everybody now has a lot clearer idea for the first day of SCOOP/Powerfest.

There was no squabbles at all, everybody got on great, I can't wait for the next meet up. When you stake so many people its easy for you to just not devote so much time to x/y/z person, for no real reason, theres just no drama, or they play a little bit lower stakes etc, this kind of trip lets us get a real impression about each guy and makes us want to devote more time to them in the future.

I played full session today, lots of funny hands, managed to chop the Party $2.6k for $30k so a nice start back on the tables.

This week should be pretty busy.

Monday - 6 hours minimum of study and dinner with gf/friends
Tuesday - 2 hours minimum of study + full high stakes session
Wednesday - Attend Graffy/ssick_one $100k review and be outside
Thursday = 2 hours minimum of study + full high stakes session
Friday - No poker at all
Saturday - Go to good friends bf/engagement party
Sunday - Battle!

Sorry so much to catch up on!

Today myself, Romeo, graftekkel started 250k side bet vs Lena/Darwin/Robinho for the next 2 weeks, should be pretty intense!

I had fun session, played well and had lots of opportunities but vital flips or 80/20s didn't go out way. Very happy with how I played even if we ended up -$15k+!

Tomorrow we have $530r which is always a fun one, aswell as $2100 win the button! Will be some heroes out for that I'm sure.

Other big news is that I signed for an Indian poker league team called Rajisthan Tilters. The day SCOOP finishes I'll fly to Goa for a week of televised poker. They're throwing everything into it for hopefully an Indian boom, would be great for poker if so.

Staking is pretty crazy. Every day during scoop is huge but Sundays are insane. God knows how many $100,000s we invested today.

Will post numbers from last month, can't remember exactly but think it's around $350k profit on the tables, which is good considering the stable took a week off to go to Spain Smiley

Gl everybody playing these two weeks, remember to enjoy it
