Being  a mod here I have to love everyone equally Cos.

Hope this helps.

If I was pushed for a top  3 tho I would go for, in no particular order, brunny, riverdave and blatch.

Who is brunny?

James Brunskill, Alaskan5ive on here. He sold 100% of himself in a comp to Jake Cody and then 10% to me on the side. We found out by pure coincidence.

Why would anyone buy 100% of someone?

What incentive has he got to win?

It doesn't sound too bad that way though, would be a 70/20/10 split - i.e. he's not selling 10% he doesn't have.

Hmmm.

I don't think that's so wrong (unless stated not to do it by the backer). He owns 30% of himself, surely it's up to him what he does with it?

Would you think it was wrong if Jake had put him in 70/30 and he swapped 10% of his action?

Don't think either is right really without permission from backer.

If someone buys you in for x %, you should most definitely be letting them know if you intend on swapping or selling any of urself further. The less % of yourself you have, the less motivation you have to play and the less hard you may work for the backer's money.

+ We found out by chance. Who knows who else he sold to?

He's making a profit from the tournament straight off the bat.

Keith if you bought me into a £500 on a 60-40 in your favour, I could sell 40% of myself and make £200 without making it to hand 2. It's not right.

It's different to selling 110% of your winnings though, that is outright thievery.

One of my important criteria I use when buying shares/put people in tournaments is that I trust them.

If I put you a £500 tournament 60:40 I wouldn't mind you swapping 10% of that with mates, because I trust you to still put in your best effort.

I agree selling 10% is a little bit shadier but as long as he didn't oversell then there is no comparison in my mind to some of the Grimmers that have appeared on blonde over the years.

Why would anyone buy 100% of someone?

What incentive has he got to win?

A well known player asked to be put in to a large tourny "I don't want any %, I just want to play it"

Said player then spins up a skyscraper by the first break.  Stands next to said skyscraper and offers to swap 20% with anyone that passes by.

On re-convening, he now has 20% of three quarters of the field.

Fails to make the next level.

Gonna ask you similar Q mate.

Your top 5 blondeites?

Been thinking about this question all day. It's such a stupid question really. Thats why i asked it. It's similar to the Who are the top 5 players in Luton question. I could break the 5 top blondes into lots of categories and then mention almost every active blonde, top 5 blondes on a personal level, forum level, people I have met but don't really see often, people that i have met and see once a month, people that play at Luton and so on.

Greeky, you could fit into almost every category. Which, given you're current size must be pleasing to know that there is still something you can fit in to.

So I went along to Equal Chance on Saturday for the fundraising comp. Never take them seriously due to the nature of the tourney, maybe thats a leak but i always feel that if I won the comp i would only end up giving the money to the cause, so I played every hand like a superstar until I bust in Level 3.

Around £4000 was raised I think, which is great. They had an auction for some items and I had my eye on the VIP tickets for the semi-final on saturday of the masters snooker at Wembley. Sadly for me the bidding started at £300 and was bought by the owner of EC for £500 so it wasn't to be. I did win a red Puma jacket in the raffle though, but gave it away to an Arsenal fan who seemed quite upset that he didn't win it. Nirvanaclown won a meal for 2 in a restaurant owned by one of the regulars and promptly stuck it back in the raffle as it wasn't near where he lived. A nice gesture but ffs Glenda, I would gladly have gone in your place. I coulda went on my own and had two of everything! He then went onto bubble the comp. Unlucky sir.

Well done Equal Chance for hosting it & well done to Jan Verhaas & Michaela Tabb for being good bounties. Not so well done to Michaela for asking me if i was a Celtic Rangers fan. Coming from Scotland and being married to a Celtic fan I thought she might know that they are two seperate teams. I put it down to the excitement of meeting me, lots of women get a bit carried away when they meet me for the first time to be fair. She seemed quite pleased that I allowed her to give me a kiss goodbye. She has added me on facebook but i'm still debating whether to accept her or not.

Sunday was spent having dinner with my Dad and watching Celtic stroll past another team called Rangers for the 2nd week in a row. Was a bit more difficult this time though to be fair Smiley Pleased we won obviously in what could have been a bit of a tricky game, and had Berwick rightly (imo) got a penalty after 2 mins it could have been so different. Daniel Mastrowhateveravic showed his swedish team mate Ljunberg what is expected of him by controlling a cross and slamming it home from all of 3 yards. And Scott Brown done his one good thing of the season by sealing the win late on.

Went to Luton tired but determined to play my best, especially as my mentor Anthony Kendall was sat three to my left. I quickly ran my stack up to 14.5k, and then quickly ran it down to 9.5k at the 1st break. Third or fourth hand after the break I levelled myself into thinking Mr Knob as he is affectionately known as now had nothing and decided to call every street with one pair that became two pair on the river. He of course had the straight and I was on my way home.

So an early night, and as they tend to say on these diary things I managed a good nights sleep and felt better for it this morning.
