Jesus Vinny, you could have posted some sort of warning first...sitting with tears in my eyes whilst pretending to work is not good for a masculine guy with a "tough guy" image like myself.

Obv. this is the first diary I read as it's by far the best so will have to put the rest on hold now for a while whilst I compose myself.

You're a top bloke.

Agree with all of this -  not that I've ever been called a tough guy!

I can only echo what others have said. Difficult read for me I must say, having a young daughter and another one coming soon it simply breaks my heart to hear about this. I gave Emily a really special cuddle this morning and said to her that was from Holly, hope you dont mind.

TBF, neither have I...but I've decided that I have a tough guy image.

I talked a fair amount with Vinny at the time of Holly's illness and he acted amazingly throughout the whole thing.

The only 'fair' thing was that such an amazing little girl had such an amazing father.

I am new here so I dont know you from Adam but reading your diary has moved me close to tears.......

All I can say is I am sorry for your loss and it does put things into perspective.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

I can't live with Chompy's diary. That story about the wheelie bin is awesome. I don't even have a wheelie bin. I live in a flat and have to take the bin bags down to the communal rubbish area.

One day I hope to have a wheelie bin.

Ha, not defacing it any more, just rang the council and she's posting me three shiny new wheelie bin stickers with number 6 on them. She couldn't do them in CH10 MPY Sad

So that's one for the blue wheelie, one for the black wheelie and one for the green wheelie. In your eye Spielberg!

The sludge will be kept and deposited through the open window of a black beemer in the summer. Pooh-poohing my wheelie bin stories indeed.

Just voted in Chompy's quiz and I've got wheelie bins too.  Celtic hasn't a hope of winning it now.  Turning out to be a most excellent Friday.
