Nice result Vinster. Good to hear.
That cash game situation sounds v dodgy. How can that guy sleep at night? The J9's intentions were perfectly clear.
However, I think I may have accidentally failed to realise the blind differences tho...hmmm, dunno. Tricky one.
- so what did u do?

Well played, but i take it my 1.25% offer for kebabs wasn't on.  I run like David Murray.  FML.

Don't see why u shld tell any1 about the blinds, joke staff cant actually do their job, why shld u do it for them?
Including the td here more than the dealer who shld be told by the floor.

Ffs if there is no comp clock and the td is overworked-how hard can it be to say every 25 mins-blinds up- they shld just do what the rio does for stts and have a wind up clock on the table which alerts the dealer every 25 minutes.

I used to always get annoyed at things like these and wld always tell the dealer, td etc-got no thanks for it and tbh u pay the reg fee for these sorta things. If some1 wants to give u an advantage who are u not to accept, even tho its obv unfair on the other table.

As far as that cash hand, that other cos sounds a right piece of work. Ffs cant ppl use common sense, of crse its a call, maybe warn ramsey to announce it louder next time as he's set a precedent etc and next time maybe he'll get penalised for such a thing. But in this case sounds like the villain is an angle shooting douschebag.

The key part to dom's post was this imo:

'even tho its obv unfair on the other table'.

That's exactly the reason why you should tell the dealer.

Complaining about paying juice/a reg fee is fine when you're getting poor service but this does not mean you shouldn't say anything.

Met The Camel at the vic tonight, he finalled the £500, was chip leader with 4 left, and finished 4th. It appears he done a Vinny spew, I set the trend, the others follow Wink

He obviously brought me some luck! Didn't manage to nip him for a few quid at the cash desk as he collected his winnings though. Must try harder.

As soon as he got knocked out, the other 3 flattened the payouts, and played on for another 2 hours or so. Think seat 10 won it Keith if you're interested.

Nice to meet you Vinny.

Sorry I wasn't in a more garrulous mood. Throwing away the chance to win £12k does shuts a bloke up sometimes.

Congrats your choppage. Smiley

It's not really about 'high' morals Dom. It's about protecting the game and.

I'm surprised that a full time poker professional like yourself wouldn't tell the dealer.

Feels like a small angle to me.

Dont try winding me up greeky! Smiley

Ive always told the dealer in such situations, just dont see WHY i/vin/any1 should have 2. Seriously tournament staff need to do their jobs better in such instances, i really see no excuse for 15 mins+ odd of a level getting missed out.

Still no poker since the deepstack last week, no real inclination to go either, was thinking about Friday as it should be busy, but I have the sky comp on Saturday and the 250 at the vic on Sunday, so will prob skip Friday. Back has been sore, so it hasn't really encouraged me to go either. It's getting better now, so please dont be worrying about me Wink

Is that Sunday affair at The Vic a decent structure?

10k & 25 min clock.1day comp, starts at 4.

It will be a total crapshoot Vin. 25 minutes is a £10 clock.

Chip leader has 11 bigs. Who said it was a game of skill?
