One of the regulars at Peters was telling me today, how he gets £1300 per month disabilty or incapacity benefit, and also gets his rent paid. He is 45, and has a dodgy back. Very dangerous apparently.
I have no objection to people claiming disabilty/incapacity benefit, but this guy goes to the gym every day, clearly does a lot of weightlifting, Cos' friends would be drooling if they ever met him
and seems to have a fairly cushy life.
I enquired a couple of months ago about working tax credits? and was told I earned too much to be considered. Really? I earn approx 70% of my monthly outgoings, so how do I earn too much?
Not fussed about it, It just baffles me how the system works.
I really need to get myself a
sore back
new job very soon.

My new, interesting fact of the day is... It is widely believed that 666 is the sign of the devil, but, in fact, it is 616.
Did this get through?
Is it a Gatso approved fact?
It appears to have got through the bullshit Mod. Well done Jim.
tbh, while it looks like bullshit I'm a little bit scared about messing with satan so I'm gonna let this one slide

616 ("six hundred and sixteen", or "six sixteen" in American English) is believed by some to have been the original Number of the Beast in the Book of Revelation in the Christian Bible.[1] Different early versions of the Book of Revelation gave different numbers, and 666 had been widely accepted as the original number. In 2005, however, a fragment of papyrus 115 was revealed, containing the earliest known version of that part of the Book of Revelation discussing the Number of the Beast. It gave the number as 616, suggesting that this may have been the original

Apparently he is allowed to train at the gym 5 days a week and lift weights and do the odd building/decorating job on the side.
Just can't do a hard task like sittting at a desk or anything like that.

Had a great meal tonight at Hawksmoor, opposite the pineapple dance studios, it was recommended to Cos by his great friend Louis, who works just across the road.
Jumped on a tube to Holborn and met Cos near his work. Walked to a pub round the corner and met Jeff and had a quick drink in a place called lowland, it specialises in beers, so obviously Cos has a vodka & orange, and I have a water. Don't think the waitress was too impressed.
Left there and walked to the restaurant. We got a bit lost, and some random comes up and asks us if we need directions. Cos says where is hawksmoor? The guy replies, ahh, the posh burger place, turn left, then right, it's just there. Don't know if the guy was trying to be funny, or genuinely thought it was a burger place, but i wasn't really impressed that i had suffered the tube to go and eat a posh burger.
Anyway, we get in there, and it's clearly not a burger place, phew, titbean, sunny, and his mate are waiting at the bar, we order a drink, then go to the restaurant part.
The servers were great, they explain all the different types of steak you can have, and sides, and even brought out 3 sample steaks for us to look at. I went for the 600g Sirloin on the bone. For starters i had corned beef & bacon, when they brought it out, i thought they had forgot the bacon, but didn't say anything to the rest of them, I'm glad I kept quiet now, as the bacon was cleverly mixed in with the corned beef. Very nice it was too.
As soon as the food was served, the table instantly went quiet. Always a good sign.
Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, with no complaints. The bill came, and no one really wanted to do Credit card roulette, which was good, and we all just chipped in.
The most expensive meal i have ever had, but easily worth every penny. 9.7/10 IMO.
Will be going there again hopefully.
Well done Cos for suggesting, and thank your mate Louis next time you see him.

After the meal, we all headed to the Empire to watch the Chelsea game. Got there and I didn't fancy the football, so went and played 1/2.
Had a dream 5 minutes. 1st hand i'm dealt AA, and raise to 7, someone 3 bets to 25, and i 4bet to 75, he folds. 2 hands later i make it 7 utg with 88, same guy 3 bets to 25 and gets 5 callers. I flat.
AA3 flop is checked by all. Turn 8
checked again, and one guy bets 75, i call, the others fold. River is a 2, and the guy moves all in out of turn. I call, and he flips 99. I turn over my hand, and he thinks he has won. wp sir.
two hands later i limp the button with 54ss.
Flop comes 2 3 10. Guy bets 15, i call, other guy calls, others fold. Turn A, guy bets 45, i call, other guy calls. River J, guy moves all in, i move all in, other guy folds, and I beat AJ. EZ game.
left there just as the Chelsea game was finishing, not a bad night's work.
Nice way to finish of a good evening.
