Can't make Saturday, have to take my parents to Birmingham. If that falls through, will play Saturday. Going to play the £100 at G tomorrow night though. Not sure where you're going for dinner Friday night, but come G afterwards if you haven't got any other plans? Cos should be playing tomorrow night too.

Just spoke to Cos on MSN, am picking him and Amatay up, on the way to Luton. Am having dinner with claypole at the G, then we are playing the comp. Get there early 6.45-7 for dinner? Failing that, we will see you in the unlimited holdem poker tournament.

Vinny - give me a call tommorrow...test driving cars with Sian, but tempted to say pick me up too if room in car - I've never met Amatay but think I live within like 5 mins of him and I may have a couple of beers then.  if no room dont worry

Played poker twice, since my last update. Friday & Saturday. Saturday at Stanleys, and my tourney report is as follows.

Went to stanleys, played like a *****. Came home after 4 levels. / Report.

Friday was at the G was a bit different. Same result, but different.

Set off from work to pick up Greeky & Amatay from their loveshack in Watford. Just before I got there, Cos rang me to see how long I was gonna be. When i said 10 mins, he said, oh, I better go and get dressed then. 5.45pm and not dressed? Nice. Fairly sure he rang to see how long I was gonna be for a different reason

Got the G, and met up with Claypole, quick drink at the bar, and we sat down for dinner in the restaurant. A short while later Sunny (free rollin) joined us. Claypole has said to me earlier in the week, that dinner was on him, and just as I was about to order, he foolishly said to me, don't be shy, just order what you would normally order. LOL, as if I was gonna have something cheap! Ordered the soup and fillet steak, and laughed as Claypole realised, he might have made a mistake.

Dinner was really nice, and Claypole, being the top guy that he is, ended up paying for everyone. He had never met Amatay & Greeky before, not even sure he had met Sunny either, but that didn't stop him paying for him too.

Off we went to the poker, and I had barely sat down, before I saw greeky coming over towards me. He said 'geeeeeeg' Got to be some sort of record at the G for a knockout, not even sir donks has gone out that quick! As for me, I yoyed for the first 3 or 4 levels, spewing sometimes, getting unlucky others. With two tables left, I had ground my way back into it. By now, it was only me and Amatay left, and he begged me to swap 10% with him, he obv knows i'm the superior player out of the two, and I reluctantly agreed. Turned out ok in the end, as I got really unlucky, when I 4bet A5 pre, and a fish in the BB couldn't lay down a pair. As for amatay, he just kept getting it in bad, and getting there. On a 5xx flop he called an all in with AA, when the 5 hit the tun, he let out a comedy nvfen;fjnasdfgredd, but when the case A hit the river, he let out an even funnier vvejnbjenjnglm[kewgw. In the end, he done a 3 way chop, which ensured, the superior player had a free night.

Possibly poker on Friday, not entirely sure yet. But after that, it's taking a back seat. I have some real life stuff I need to focus on for a while, then I'm off to Malta, to see my Dad on the 20th. Really looking forward to seeing him now. Then back to the real life stuff, when I return.
