Good luck mate.

At several points in the past I've thought about looking for staking to play live cash (like the big PLO game at the Vic, which is toasty but I'm not nearly rolled for) and what's put me off ever really doing it is that I don't like the thought of someone doubting in their mind any of the wins/losses etc. Does that resonate at all?

It's a big compliment to be staked for live cash, in more ways than one.

I'll leave the complicated advice to Martin but here's mine: Don't tilt. Win. Don't play like you want, play like you can. Oh and did I mention, win?

Cheers Cos. Good advice there.

I'm now set up on Skype. Am a complete noob on it. If you would like to add me then I'm the remarkably named vince.calenti

So far, the only people I can talk to on there are Greek & Fett. Don't leave me with those two please!

Peeeleeeno, as per you post the other day, can you add me please?

Would add you, but can't spell calenti.

It's easier than you think mate...

Good luck - I will see you later to personally send you run good on the night.  Cos is right, big compliment - but tbh you are one of a handful of people I've met through poker who I would trust in this type of deal - so you're backers will be fine on the integrity front....

....the poker front is another matter ha ha ha

Only joking, you'll do great fro them

cheers shaun. Cheque is in the post.

Would it be possible for you to get backing for something you're good at, or is that stretching things a bit ?

My fave poster atm.

No one reads this but just in case some spam:

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=55839.0

Needs a catchier title.

I won't enter because I'm scared of winning. RSQ tilts me so much. I don't know why because it is so popular with a lot of people. Might become brave one day and give it another go.

It's not rsq. It's a sq. Much easier. More fun plus a question on kebab. go on Vinny!

argghhhh, really was gonna enter, didn't realise til i opened the thread today that it closed Sad

God, that Martins is a little fker.

He, and his polar opposite in the beauty stakes concocting some random stories on skype this morning. wp tho boys.

This is a little ploy by Alex obv, to take some of the heat off himself for coming out with some random nonsense when discussing hands last night. But it's fine, I can take it.

Examples included, Trying to justify calling a raise oop with A9o/s because the dealer is terrible, and the last flop was 99x, and he is bound to not shuffle properly and deal the same flop again. Eh? Followed by, people don't like calling limp r/r's because they assume AA and are SCARED of cracking AA. What?

Anyway, I said I wouldn't mention any of the stuff we spoke about, so I wont.
