After a sweet double victory for the DTD Degens, went to DTD for a 1/2 game, which was really fun.
Getting in a £1.2k hole in the first hour wasn't - suffered a nasty equity beat vs Kurt with losing an 85/15 for £1k, then he went for a fag, came back and immediately stacked me again, with AA vs my K9spades on a cold QJxAJ with three spades.
Boshi helped me out of it with a lucky river where I had
on a
board, called £60 and the pinged the lovely disguised
on the river and happily called his £210 all-in wager.
Someone was adequately punished when he limped
under the £8 straddle, called my £35 iso, and tried to tarp me on a
board, when I backed into a flush
So had two bits of bad luck, two bits of good luck and ended up about level.
Done some damage to my car today though, when trying to do a good deed by taking Denise, our cleaner, home because it was raining. Forgot I hadn't put my contact lenses in and didn't bother going back inside to do so when I realised because it's only a 5 minute journey and thought it'd be alright. It was dark and wet, so poor conditions anyway, and got adequately punished by running over a traffic bollard that I just didn't see at all
Probs geeged a few hundred quid to realign the axle and replace the front right wheel sighhhh. What a tit.
Yeah, didn't think you had the straight on the river and decided to turn my hand into a bluff thinking you'd fold against me with two pair or pretty much any hand other than the one you had! Sigh.
I don't believe you.

was a really good bluff tbf, would've never called with two pair except maybe T8. You played it like a set! I didn't really mind what you had on the river though
I had a pair. Played it like a set, got my timing horribly wrong.
Wish we'd chopped the profits in the car park afterwards...
Sorry alex gave me the cash ill drop it with you next time we meet! 40/30/30 ok?

Right.......
Let me get this straight.
killerksby
- this guy had NEVER seen the boys before.
There was no reputation issues or anything of any suspicion going on. In fact it was more like the 4 of them fighting each other for the chance to play with me or the other guys on the table.
I've already said in this thread that the CRM came up to me and Alex at the time to try and explain that this guy does this all the time to any table. He's just sat down 2 to my right just now and he's already attacking this table as well.
I think you attacked PJ way too quickly, easily and it looks like you have an axe to grind to me (a neutral).
However I also understand your annoyance at what you've witnessed im the past but dont feel this is an appropriate way to vent.
PJ/ Alex
- Im really sorry this has brought up a whole heap of discussion about something i didn't even know about.
I am however, certain that 'Mo' (the guy in question) definitely heard as he reacted to it.
PJ made sure to say it loud enough so it could be heard. This was the only thing I was trying to mention, like I did to him at the time.
Clearly PJ is right about 'pot kettle black' when it comes to me. But with my own changes and conscious effort to make the game good and take care of it (much from this forum) I wanted to feel like I was helping a tiny bit with someone else.
And finally to blonde and everyone else who's viewed and heard about this thread today and yesterday, im sorry for this. I really enjoyed the game with the boys and hope this doesn't sour any memories.

To be fair JB, it sounds like the guy deserved to be called a douche in this instance.
PJ is always asking me to collude with him, keep trying to tell him its unfair to the other players.
