Yesterday I was playing 1/2 and won a big pot and was playing about 1.2k and there were ppl are the table covering me or close to. This is fairly normal for 1/2 at DTD but I found myself wanting to leave the game, I felt uncomfortable at the thought of getting involved in 2k pots.
Does this mean I am playing outta my roll? I feel fine losing a buyin etc, but once I've won a few big pots and am playing like 5buyins, is it normal to feel slightly uncomfortable? Or does this mean I just move down to 50/1? Or that I'm not wired emotionally to be a poker player? I was up 1k at one point yesterday and I was really happy with that as a nights work and felt like "booking a win" even though I know most other players would just wanna carry on going and win more and more. Maybe it's because I've only been playing 1/2 6weeks or so.
I was getting lots of stick yesterday for leaving the 1/2 game at like 2ish even though the guy who I won all my money off had already left, so no-one felt like they were being hitnran. The game was 5handed and as I said, I didn't feel comfortable. 3 of my mates were all playing on a 50/1 game which looked like a really fun table and I wanted to just chill with them and have a laugh - got a lot of stick for that too. I just wanted peoples opinions on this sort of thing.

One thing I've learnt from cash is FUCK EVERYONE ELSE. The amount of times I had wished I'd got up 3 hours earlier with profit is ridic. If you feel uncomfortable- leave. Doesn't mean your under rolled- ur just playing in a sick deep game and your entitled to get up and leave. Not like your a reg who doesn't put there fair share into the local poker community.

Fuck people giving you stick mate.
Do what you like when you like, people who moan about hit and runs are just miserable saddos anyway.
Your effectively sat with a buy in for a 5/10 game which I assume is outside your roll?

If the person you'd just stacked was still sitting there I'd play for half an hour more (probably uber tight) and then get up and leave. It's defo bad etiquette to get straight up. I wouldn't go sit in the £.50/1 game if I got up and they were still there, no matter how long it had been really.
As the guy you'd won the big pot off had already left, then you did nothing wrong and sitting in £0.50/1 is fine.
If we were all rolled like Mitch, we could just sit in the 1BMW/2BMW game for lols eating pudding after pudding but we're not.
Mitch is gonna put you to the test for the £1.2k and you'll either be the hero and it'll feel great or you'll feel like utter donkeygash when he gets it all off you with 93ss.
