I'm going to go against the grain, and suggest that Tom wins the hand. Assigning Tom the top of his range = , and giving Mitch a solid bluff catcher = . If the prize is dinner with the current Monte Carlo champion then I'm out. I already won that by crrrrushing at hu Monopory.

Sorry Sean, meant to mention that.

Sean and I did play an epic heads up monopoly match on monday night, in which he did crush me, yes. Keen for more, really enjoyed it.

My first thought was Mitch has ad7d and has hero called with ace high while Tom has asks. But thinking about it Mitch has to win the hand otherwise you wouldn't know his cards so il put Tom on 8c10d for an airball.

Mitch does tell us his hands afterwards. Esp in a big pot like this.

You guys are on the right lines though

Is Tom a youngish guy (young isdh to me that is) who would have been on the .50/1 tables on the Sunday of the last GP?
Did a lot of reloading.
There was also a Terry there who seemed to know him - they got it all in pre with 77 and 99 (99 for Terry)

He seemed to run bad in very hand bar the ones I was in...
Reraised allin when I bet £40 into around £65 on the turn - another £100 for me to call - two hearts on the board and he says "I don't want to see another heart..." Heart falls on river and he flips his  ...

Sometimes I don't think the regulars do themselves any favours in the way they treat/interact with the occasional visitor be the visitor fish or not.

Yes that sounds like him.

I don't think your generalisation of  "the regulars" is very fair. There are definitely regulars that don't treat fish/visitors in a way that is in their best interests. But Tom doesn't play for a living so those things don't concern him as much as us that do.

Fair point - maybe it's more a case of 'some of the regulars'
