Sigh plane delayed 2 more hours. Good wifi here, can't play online obv, anyone got any ideas for something fun to do to kill the time?
I've been "working" lots over the last couple of hours - done 2 slideshows for my horses, gone through loads of hands, done some PHA with them. It's good actually - making me put some more off the table effort into poker in which I've been slacking lately.
Really feel like as a group we can help each other and all get better and with more group sessions, sweats, slideshows, PHA reviews etc they'll all get out of makeup and make some actual $ for themselves (and me:P). It's really helping my game too going over some basics again, fine tuning my thought processes and going over tons of maths again, which I was a bit rusty on.

If anyone has any questions about anything at all, now's the time to post by the way!
Or if you want to have a cheeky bet on something random that is happening in the next hour, I'll probably be in!

Did someone say there were two updates on the chess thread?
Safe flight, anyway, sir.

If you could tell yourself something at the very start of your career, what would it be?
If you had to choose between live/online what would it be?
Least fav game type out of, live/online and cash/tourney?
If I could only focus on live cash, or online MTT grinding, which should i choose? Disregard thoughts on backing etc, purely on gametype. Presume i enjoy both games equally- and have good access to both sets of games.
If you had to back me, for any game type, what would be the first/most important bit of advice you would give me?
How many 8 year olds (if you don't know rules learn to internet?)
p.s idgaf your on the plane now, answers pls
p.p.s, just saw flight cancelled, get back safe and hope its not too much hassle

Had 1-2 hours sleep in the last 48 hours. No idea why I'm even posting now. I'm safely home. Went to Cambridge first, spent a really great day with my brothers and Mum, made a lot more effort to be 100% focussed on them and it went down really well, we had a lovely chinese meal and then after they went to bed, despite my insane lack of sleep I wanted to power through till about 4am so I'd be on my standard nottingham sleeping pattern. So I drove to nottingham - probably not the wisest idea - after an hour in the car (making myself sing along to every song (lion king ldo) to stay awake) I started nodding off so I stopped off for a 15minute kip on the A1 which actually gives you a remarkable amount of boost, and was fine after that.
Obv sat nav was programmed straight for DTD instead of the house
degens gonna degen, I knew all my housemates were there so was looking forward to seeing them, and saw all the other regs, Mitch, Keith, Keys etc and loads of tourists like Lil Dave, Sam McDonald, Ben Dobson, was really fun. Played a tiny bit of 2/5 but was basically socialising all night.
Can't wait for the £500 tomorrow! Happy to be home
Will get to yr questions Adam and Rich, but they were supposed to be whilst I was waiting for the flight, not on the plane ffs!
