You didnt need to be there for you to prove what is true, it was play with a shared BR to isolate players outside of the circle, all 3b/4b pots were played passively without showdown against each other and very bet heavy with iso'd players.

Ok my description wasnt perfect and the numbers not exact it was an example.
Plus we are forgetting 1 detail hes admitted doing it. But was 'new to the game' ok thats fine.
maybe it was naivety.
But considering i havnt seen him since and hes now been accused again you would see the point. I firmly belive had this happened against most of you or PJ was not your mate then you wouldnt be reacting this way.
To kick off at the guy is a bit rich coming from him considering his reputation from the past was the point.
As you say haters gonna hate. But mates gotta love and i know you have to defend him regardless lets move on.

I think the point Keith is trying to make is that if they were collduing and going to fold to each others bets, why wouldnt they just bet loads safe in the knowledge itll get a fold.
Not going for or against because I dont know them and havent played with them but Ive sat down with friends at cash game tables before, got into x-bet wars with them and got to showdown pretty light and sometimes passively causing innocent bystanders that have a few quid caught up in the crossfire to accuse us of the same thing, so when I hear these stories it just makes me think its some passive guy kicking up a fuss because they didnt get to see a flop rather than cheating. There is way better ways to cheat if thats what they were going to do and loads of things to make it less obvious and the cheating you are actually describing sounds like that between 2 people they will win most small pots but lose loads of big ones so probs not optimal cheating strategy anyway

After a sweet double victory for the DTD Degens, went to DTD for a 1/2 game, which was really fun.
Getting in a £1.2k hole in the first hour wasn't - suffered a nasty equity beat vs Kurt with losing an 85/15 for £1k, then he went for a fag, came back and immediately stacked me again, with AA vs my K9spades on a cold QJxAJ with three spades.
Boshi helped me out of it with a lucky river where I had
on a
board, called £60 and the pinged the lovely disguised
on the river and happily called his £210 all-in wager.
Someone was adequately punished when he limped
under the £8 straddle, called my £35 iso, and tried to tarp me on a
board, when I backed into a flush
So had two bits of bad luck, two bits of good luck and ended up about level.
Done some damage to my car today though, when trying to do a good deed by taking Denise, our cleaner, home because it was raining. Forgot I hadn't put my contact lenses in and didn't bother going back inside to do so when I realised because it's only a 5 minute journey and thought it'd be alright. It was dark and wet, so poor conditions anyway, and got adequately punished by running over a traffic bollard that I just didn't see at all
Probs geeged a few hundred quid to realign the axle and replace the front right wheel sighhhh. What a tit.
Enjoyed the game last night! Wa weird as I had said to boshi that I wa going for a spin and then going to pull up more the spin meet quite happened and when they guy in seat 2 cracked my aa I felt a bit meh as it was so horrible!! Thanks for getting me back in the game
I think that's the third time I have shared a table with you and the first with boshi who was a top guy! Probably down again tonight! Well played on getting out of the hole was a bit sick early on! You chipped up from £500 to about £1500 quite incredibly I didn't notice you win any monster pots just got it quietly well played

Agree with the above, didnt say they were good at it though did i. How did a rec filled room notice within minutes otherwise and also the reason they went bust as soon as people clocked what they were doing and set them up.
Can i also be clear that although not the main problem there was £0 exchanged between the 3 as soon as every one else was out. They either check checked river or bet folded so this wasnt levelling wars between mates.
Regardless it was admitted so the argument of it being a passive player just be disgruntled is void.

no he's admitted the bankroll sharing and softplaying in hu pots, which doesn't really hurt other peoples pockets whereas what you described does.
and the guy didn't sit down, watch us play then accuse him, he sat down and snap said we were colluding based on nothing other than us being young and similar looking lol. we weren't even sat next to each other or talking lol. he was really out of order, no-one that was there would even question that, the floor almost kicked him out but he got stacked first.

Normally no smoke without fire.
Either way perhaps this time the guy was OOL.
Just heard that someone with 'in my eyes a reputation' had been accused and just wondered whether it was down to his rep.
How can you be sure it wasnt down to previous experience? Either way then someone questioned what his rep was an i simply stated softplay and collusion.
Well softplay has been admitted and as for collusion belive what you like i know what occured.

Can give at least 10 reasons for PJ and his mates to lie/cover up but why would i need to?

Probably better spots to troll than this one, especially with the self confessed form in the subject area.

on the same point, what reason do you have to go after him like this?
yes maybe the guy had seen PJ before and was going on previous experience. You said it's a bit rich for him to kick off at the guy given his "experience" in the past - I was the one who jumped down his throat and got pissed off at his accusation, not PJ, PJ just said to stato that he was being a douche.

yeah I trust George's word and just wondered if he knew.
Kukushkin. I have never colluded in my life but can't deny that I have not soft played with people. This list of people exclusivly includes 2 Chinese guys and anyone that has been kind enough to give me a lift. There is a world of difference between soft playing and colluding. Why would I want to take out anyone I have a financial interest in or might get the hump and leave me with a £100 taxi home?
My pet hate ATM is if we travel together as mates, get to Dtd late and all end up on the same table.

The objective of my comment wasn't to 'help'. It was more to outline the fact that the guy was a massive douche. Stato went to the toilet so I felt he needed to know
I know mate, but when the guy is still there..
It wasn't classy, pretty, appropriate or fair.
You could so easily have text him or whispered it.
Alex most of the negative comments in the thread was about PJs comment.

Im sorry but lol. Just lol.
PJ and the other person in question used to frequent the games in my cardrooms every single day. There was definitely softplay in HU pots, but apart from that, there was nothing. This was before me and PJ were friends and I didnt really know the other guy at the time. If the third one is who I think, then you may be correct, but PJ was DEFINITELY not involved in anything that may have been going on between them. He's a good guy and got caught up with some wrong ideas (softplay). If Id have ever thought he was involved in that, I would have said so without a shadow of a doubt. The third player didnt play in my games very often, but wouldn't surprise me at the time.
Maybe you were looking for something that wasnt there. I have dealt with (literally) a dozen cases similar to this, and only once was one correct with 2 completely different guys. PJ's case didnt even come close.
You find me a Casino in England that has a Cardroom that has no softplaying going on, and I will eat my fking hat. Also, almost every day you will get guys coming in sharing profits/losses. The difference is, you cant kick up a fuss about them because nobody gives a shit. As someone said earlier, the only reason that you're trying to drag PJs name through the mud is because hes a successful player. Gotta get fame from somewhere right? Thats how reporters do it anyway.
