Don't worry kids, situation rectified. Did good in the end.
Off home now. Need to get my grind on real hard now. Losing for so long means NOT earning, so roll gets depleted heavily with 5 months of this lifestyle. Gonna have to stop!
Hitting the cash games hard for the next few weeks before Marbella next month.

I don't think you did anything that bad anyway tbh mate, don't think she'd go out with you if she expected you to be awake normal hours when you earn your living on the graveyard shift. It's just frustration I'd imagine.
Glad it's all sorted anyway, safe journey back.

Thought there would be a perfectly good explanation

Just liked this scene for some reason - Locals playing boules or "petanque". Disclaimer: maybe called something different in Cataluyna, Ed can correct me.

Onto tonight as promised. Will do it as a Good, Bad, and Ugly format
Good
- Turning a set vs mitch in a 3bet pot and getting a c/r allin on the river paid off for an early double up
- Made a correct disciplined fold of AA on Q85ddd to one bet of £20.
- Made a really nice bluff in a tricky spot
- Did not die in "incident" on the way home. See "Bad".
Bad
- Weather. Caused aforementioned "incident". We went rolling down a hill in the snow. Brakes doing nothing. Handbrake doing nothing. Just helpless careering into whatever came my way. There was cars, lamposts, trees, houses all around. I maanged to steer off to the right and go over the kerb (pleeeease don't cost another £2.5k) and come to a halt without hitting anything. Could've been a hell of a lot worse. Was really luck to fade a bunch of things that would've been really nasty. Just about managed to park it somewhere safe and got Thigh to pick me up <3. BMWs really suck in the snow
- Results of the session. Lost a really big one to Mitch with AA vs 97cc on 56QA8 xxccx. Was always getting stacked there. Just ran into some nasty spots tonight.
-Morale. Could've done with a win today. On quite a big downswing within the downswing atm. When will it end please dealer?
Ugly
-River card in 6 hi/lo. Yes the 1/2 game digressed...Potted flop and turn with ATxxxx on KQJ7 and the river brought the flush but I had a bowl left so had to just stick it in and got called and scooped to my absolute surprise and delight! I guess villain was committed with whatever he had got to the river with, but I really expected to chop or lose than pot with that river. Was good for morale to get me losing a few hundred less right at the end of the night.
- Outlook for the future. Got some serious grafting to do. Good test for me though. I will get through it.
