Thanks RickBFA, I will follow your advice when writing my complaint.

Also, interested in opinions on how much I should slate the bank manager in my complaint. She was ridiculously unhelpful and dismissive. On the other hand, once I made my 'threat' to her (that I would mention her in my official complaint) she did then come through and find out the information that I had requested (albeit rather too late!). Weirdly enough I am more angry with her that she found this info out than if she had not been able to... because the fact that she did get the info for me proves that she could have done it all along, despite her protestations to the contrary. But on the other hand, that puts her in a damned if she does damned if she doesn't spot and I want to be fair to her. Mind you, I am pretty annoyed that I ended up being forced to make a 'threat' in order to get her to help me... if I had not have done this then she would not have bothered. So her attitude forced me to become one of those people who gets what they want through making threats which is not something I enjoy doing.

I would just tell it as it is, like you have on here.

Lol, amazingly it really is just that simple. I always worry about things and overcomplicate them. Thank you.

It's the financial conduct authority now (FCA), FSA stopped in 2013 I think, so make sure you quote the right organisation :p

Frustrated, he tried to access the Bank via the side entrance.

This is Bingham Market place.

Auf Wiedersehen Pet was filmed there a lot.

When Barry and Oz went poaching . The Cafe is over the other side.

Thought it would be interesting.

And being local to Nottingham it is quite believable Alex did it.

Haha, I appreciated it. But since it was a gentle dig at me I thought I would let others praise his efforts Smiley

I will concede to say he does too.

Gill must be dressing him now because in Vegas his outfits were like he'd lost a prop bet to wear them each day.

I was thinking exactly that too but didn't dare say.

Today was FUN!

DTD had a £330 PLO comp on at 2pm, and a £1k at 7pm. I didn't have anything to do in the afternoon so I thought I'd play the PLO and the 1k after.

Never assumed I'd go deep...after all, it was my first ever plo tournament!

It got 35-40 entries and they paid 6. Was 2/9 going into the final with a lot more than 3rd, but lost all the pots and was shortest on the bubble. Scraped in and got 5th for a flag and £900! Beginners luck? Very much so.

Used the cash plus £200 to buy into the 1k in level 9 (9? Yes level 9 reg was still open can you believe it?) And used my seating script to get a soft table and HUD to work out that Guy Taylor had AJ when I had QQ. Could always re-enter if I lost...

Only played for 20 minutes before it was bag and tag time. Day two tomorrow with 72k. Still open for reg if anyone fancies it Cheesy

The gambling was not done for the day.

Well there was a brief pause in the action for this...

Then Mitch and I played HU chinese for a bit, then we saw the 1/1 game looked kinda lively with big stacks and big straddles.

Within half an hour it was a 5/10 game with the 40 straddle on every hand. That escalated quickly then.

No major wins or losses to report but it was great fun.

Sleep now.
