If only. Having said that, 9 hours is almost a brag in itself.


Coltish in paddock due to Ladies Tourney, broke very fast indeed & soon well clear, led for 4 furlongs, gradually came back to the field, ran on at one pace, under severe pressure when pulled up entering the final furlong. May be better if gelded.

Used the cash plus £200 to buy into the 1k in level 9 (9? Yes level 9 reg was still open can you believe it?) And used my seating script to get a soft table and HUD to work out that Guy Taylor had AJ when I had QQ. Could always re-enter if I lost...

By the look on your face it looks like you jolly well did as well. I'm sure you are looking a lot better than maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Whats your secret?

Ha, that's very kind of you, also Mrs Nun & the self-styled fashion policeman, Mr Conk.

I'm wary of derailing Alex's diary too much, so I'll try & reply on my Diary. It's gone dormant of late, but there have been a number of reasons/excuses for that. I ache to get it re-started, but I have so many posts on there I need to reply to - it's so rude to ignore them - I have no idea where to start, at the top, middle or bottom of the pile.

I did sort of explain to Alex last night some of the reasons why my Diary went quiet for a bit. He was too polite to mock, of course, so made some soothing noises.

    My best night of poker EVER.

Yesterday I span up my 35bbs in the 1k to a final table chip lead! Then rapidly span it down to a 9th place finish. Was one of the quickest hero to zero moments I can remember. Half of it was a big flip JJ vs AK getting rivered, other half (less 8bbs) was a big bluff vs Nick than ran into a rivered two pair. I'm still wondering whether it would've gotten through if the river was different...probably not haha.  So that was pretty gutting with 7 paid, closest I've come to pure bubbling a live tournament I guess.

Anyway, that's all been forgotten about now this is my base for the next 4 days:
