Which football team do u support?

I support Arsenal, had a season ticket there for 2 years but my friends had it for the 2 years since I couldn't afford/lived too far away but i'm taking it back next season!  I used to go a lot while I was 16-19 despite only being a suffolk lad so call me a non-glory hunter if you like Cheesy  my best friend at primary school supported them and i'm easily impressionable

enjoying thread :-)

what table selection methods do you use? software wise and also selection criteria.

any idea what your turn + river agg % is in cash games. has it changed much since going from 1/2->midstakes?

thoughts on portal 2?

I use table scan turbo and I buy hands from hhsmithey.  I have a scoring system within TST that's entirely VPIP based something like a score of 0,1,2,4,6,10 for vpips 28-30,30-35,35-40 etc etc final group is 70+ i can't remember them exactly, Sweir did it for me.  I also have a hands requirement of >50 hands on them.  Then I sort the player list by VPIP too in case I missed any fish and join a load of waiting lists.  At 2/4 3/6 there are less whales so I have a few regs buddy listed too Smiley

Ugh I definitely can't remember but yes it's probably changed but only as i've improved as a player.  I'll check my laptop hands but a lot of them are from rush poker where I don't use a HUD.  46.6/34.5/34.2.  Def since moving to 2/4+ my red line is a lot higher than my blue line but both are +ve weeeeee

portal 2 is really awesome and everyone should get both portal and portal 2, i haven't had much time to play it yet but i've got 2 weeks from tomorrow to grinddddd

Why are you such a nice guy? I feel like my life would be easier if you were a ***** and I could hate you for winning an ept but actually I'm just happy for you, any chance you could work on this?

hahaha man I used to be the most jealous guy ever whenever someone would start getting the lot.  Not really sure what happened, probably went through a bit of live misery myself and realised how awesome it was that everyone was winning everything!  Not sure about the nice guy bit, have berated so many people on forums and irl for being idiots but don't ever seem to get called out on it.  Love a good argument over the internet about something petty!!
Note to everyone. Rupert berated so many people for being idiots and despite my efforts to find a new pc word in his honour I will continue to call the idiots idiots.

Just one question from one of the biggest idiots on this forum.     Who is skolsupers favourite poster on here

What % would you put on having <$50k net worth in next 7 years? Edit: just to clarify, I mean at any point in next 7 years.

Would you be happy playing poker (as pretty much sole source of income) at 50+ years old? If not then how are you planning on moving away/diversifying in the long term? What about if you had a wife and kids?

Will I ever graduate and win some actual $$$?

wow net worth is gonna be pretty tough to get that low, probably like 8% but I might back at that price

I'd be over the moon if I was still doing what i'm doing now at 50 this is the most fun thing ever.  But i'll work on that sandwich shop at some point or maybe help out my dads business if he dies before me etc.  If I had wife and kids then i'd probably just be a little bit more responsible wrt money and get her to squirrel more away!  As Barry G told me when I asked for some advice, telling your kids that their college fund was spent on being BALLA isn't going to fly!

Yes you probably know you are a very sick player.  Any good player from warwick thats gone pro good things have happened!  Concentrate on degree for now though, it's more important than ever to have a backup plan to poker and I don't have one at all other than scrooge mcducking into a pile of euros.

You are handling this incredibly well, Rupert, & my sincere congrats to you.

Excuse my ignorance, but from reading this, presumably you & Mr Keys are quite close friends? If so, what a duo, & what a year you are having.

I wish you both continued success, & lots of it.

Any advice for an old-school grinder?

Will you "lock up" some of your winnings in a long-term investment?

Cheers Tikay appreciate it a lot.

Yeah I consider Keys a good friend, dunno what he thinks about me!  I'm glad to have finally won him some money though - the amount of times he's gotten me out of it is incred!

I guess just always be working on your game, watch training videos if you have time and most of all make sure you still enjoy it!!

Not sure what i'm going to do with the money, i'll definitely squirrel away a bit of it but I quite like having most of it liquid in case of downswings or if an exciting opportunity comes along

My mum does some incred Korean meals which definitely rank up there... Having trouble remembering all the restaurants, that Chateau in Etoges did a really good meal, shame about no port salut tho

France 2 years ago was awesome, everything about that trip was perfect.  Discovering Jimmyz for the first time in particular!!  Monte Carlo def gotta be my fave place thats not in UK, there or Melbourne but Melbourne is so far away that I feel like I force myself to enjoy it more!

Tokyo don't think it's close

Have u considered just playing mtts as a living ?

Biggest one piece of advice u. Can give to a poker player?

Best training site u use?

Italian BMT, non toasted, extra cheese, light mayo, cucumber lettuce tomato sometimes chillis

I have but it's too much pain to put myself through!

Game select harder

Bluefirepoker, cardrunners when starting out for cash, don't bother with deucescracked (too long too boring and not very good except for Grindcore thin red line episode 1 which is very good), leggo is decent.  Don't bother watching MTT videos unless ur really tez then go through all the old pokerxfactor ones by sheets/bax then unsubscribe or maybe watch mements 100r ft on cardrunners which is decent
