Online Day 1's will be 8th to 12th August , 2 each day at 7pm and 9pm.

So not all the day 1 flights are at DTD there is 10 run online?

The day 1's are pretty much satellites into day 2!

The way I read it day 1 is just a satellite to get you through to day 2 with a new starting stack and the standard deepstack structure?

Is that correct?

That's how I read it too.

Day 1 is a survivor satellite. Day 2 is effectively a new tournament.

So basically instead of it being a €50 tournament it's a €500 tournament which you can't buy in to and have to qualify via a satellite?

That's just about the way I read it too, it's effectively an €500 tourney after all the qualifiers.

Will there be any direct buy-in to the day twos?

No because the prizes are based on €50 not €500.

If you make day 2 you definitely get some money back.

If it was as you say you'd still have to beat 90% of the field to get to the min cash which would be €500 ish.

I'm assuming not because you're in the money if you make day 2. Though the prize will be less than the €500 I guess so maybe you can...

You could just look at it as a €500 comp where 100% of the field gets paid I guess. I assume the first people out will be getting paid €75, based as you say on the original €50.

it's really weird but I quite like it. round 1 is like a shootout but with tables merging instead of playing to a winner

Great idea, can see others copying this.

The prizes could be interesting.

The guarantee is €250k which means 5000 entrants.

However because it's a satellite type event there aren't going to be 500 people paid out.

Payouts will be for everyone who makes day 2 but that will only be 10% of the number of unique players not including re entries.

I can't see it getting too many more than the 1500 or so entries that the latest GP got which means between 150 and 200 people battling it out for €250k.

If they pay €75 for a min cash the payout structure could be incredibly top heavy or ridiculously levelled out.

Will be interesting to see how it works out.
