Good fight to watch, and great shot in the last round.

I thought that was top drawer from Frampton last night. There's nothing cute or clever about Martinez but he always gives you a tough nights work and Frampton dominated him. I'd have him favourite against any super-bantam in the world apart from Rigo. He beats Santa Cruz for me and I'd make him about a 1/6 shot v Quigg.

Great performance from him.  I wouldn't let Scott Quigg anywhere near him.

thought the interview after was funny as they stuck the boot in on quigg and hearn

it looked like sky wanted a ppv before the end of the year wonder if they mite try and push frampton and quigg through now as brooks out of action

If they do fight I doubt it will be before next spring. Assuming Quigg gets past Jamoye they will probably have one more fight each, probably on the same card in order to hype it up a bit more before fighting each other next year.

I think Hearn will be happy to put the fight on despite the fact Quigg will be a big dog. Despite being a world champ he is not a big ticket seller and the average man in Bury probably wouldn't recognise him. With Frampton's following they will be able to fill the MEN or whatever it's called now and have it PPV on Sky. Money talks.

All we need is a bookie to price them up!

was thinking cardle goodings is a good spot to get a run for your money on the draw

and inactivity could do for vassell  -  eggingtons seems fairly busy

This looks to be serious injury but what struck me was in the write up they mentioned the guy in the black shorts did not look well during this round. Maybe I am back fitting here but is someone shouting ref over and over and the guy that comes into the ring is clearly very upset at the ref, should this have been stopped?

Painful, really painful. Eggington would have been a dog here (I'm a pretty big fan) but no one priced the fight up. Poor stoppage but Egg was in control. It's getting really pathetic when no bookies price up a fight that's live on Sky.

There's something likeable about Sam, he's a good, um, egg.
