"Real world champion", nice emphasis by McGuigan and Frampton when Quigg stepped up for a chat.

The 8/15 on Frampton with WH is an empty the clip job. The biggest risk is Fast Eddie not wanting the fight but given Quigg isn't a big ticket seller in his own right the $$$ this fight would make should see is happen in the summer. It was obvious last night the Frampton camp are desperate for the fight.

About betting on hypothetical fights, are they voided if the bout is not made in x amount of time?

Agree totally.  When they were interviewing them in the ring after the fight my initial thoughts were 1/4 Frampton and I am not sure I would be that keen to lay that.

WBA says Froch and Ward need to fight. Great stuff. Impeccable timing after Froch vacates the IBF title giving him nowhere to go. Suddenly he wants the fight with a man whose name he forgot for 10 months! Boxing is great at the moment. Long may it continue.

There's tons of boxing action today.

It'll be worth keeping an eye on how Zou Shiming performs this afternoon. Like the other talented amateurs Korobov and Stalker he hasn't looked as fantastic as a pro and he's a short priced favourite.

Keith Thurman vs Robert Guerrero is the fight I'm most looking forward to, Thurman looks a real slick operator.

Ruenroeng takes it 116-111 on all 3 judges scorecards. Zou scored a knockdown in the 2nd round whilst Ruenroeng was off balance, other than that it was hard to give him any rounds.

Like Eubank Jr and Lomanchenko he looked ill prepared for the pace of a competitive 12 round fight.

Yeah no matter how good an amateur you are it is proving to be very tough to fast track to a title in the paid ranks.

A bit like when like when pro's go into prizefighter, old habits are proving hard to break. All the guys I mentioned have looked good for short spells of their big fights but ultimately have not been able to win the rounds and have a 12 round game plan.

Macau was a good show and had some great undercard fights even if the main even was a bit of a damp squib.

On that note Beterbiev is the next fast tracked guy on my list to take a closer look at ahead of his fight in a months time.

Now that stunk to the high heavens. I guess Fast Eddie didn't want the Hull clash between Campbell and Coyle. Coyle so fragile, loads of heart but still fragile.

Tighty has previously made WWE comparisons and tonight it would be impossible to defend any accusations.

Yeah agree. That was indefensible. Campbell stops him quickly so it's hardly like he was preserving a classic match up. Shameful.
