It had completely passed me by that the Ryder fight is at super middleweight. Ryder's properly filled out but Etches looked every bit the middleweight with love handles.

Moved up too high up or was this guy really resistant? He never has had punch power. Reason Blackwell, Doran etc last so long. He lacks a Ko punch. His stoppages are like this waived off not sparked clean out. |

Yeah pretty much that. He will get stoppage victories like that where his opponent is completely outclassed but no chance he stops anyone remotely near world level.
