Driving back down South I was thinking about my exit hand from the MC and realised I was prbs a bit hasty in jamming when I could poss have found a better spot on the next orbit but hey were learning all the time, stopped off at Luton as a mate was in the last 12 of the main event of their Xmas cracker and was going to rail him but when I get there he has bust so we decide to play the £100 side event instead.

Whilst waiting his missus who is a Slot Jockey is sat happily playing away and he is on the touch bet roulette spinning up from £20 to £100 back down rinse repeat and he then decides "I have £70 so if I turn it to £110 I play the sidey if not I go home and play the million", so we sit at the Blackjack and I watch and 4 hands later he is upto £130   wiiiiiiiiiiiii  "stop now then and you can buy me a curry" (learnt that line from Vinny) ok just a few more hands.   Obv the degens know this is a mistake and the shoe is destined to turn against him and 15 mins later its off to the cash desk, I remember those days well.

The tourney was a bit meh and I never really got started and ended up getting Ko'd 3 tables out having raised the co with  and left a 3/4 psb back and got peeled otb and jammed the  two spades three diamonds flop to be shown the mighty  Two Clubs oh how I wish I knew what flops were coming!!

Got back home and back in the office for the last week at work in 2011   wiiiiiiiiiii

Stupidly picked him in a last longer bet v Jeff Buff.

Paid Pizzled the £10 I lost. Thank Steve for me when you speak to him next. Sigh.
Yh he told me about the bet  ul  where are all the cash reports??

Will post about Christmas day when in office on Thurs and I have more time but for the degens about today is about winning

Deiredh re  1.40 wincanton - the horse that was the lucky start to a spin up getting me into the MC is out today and i think it will win again, I have left the price as think it may return bigger than 13/8

Wycombe at 13/10 is a single on the footie for me

finally I shall be laying Tornado Force in the 3.30 Wolverhampton as although there is some money for it this morning personally I think it got the run of the race last time out so reps no value imo!!!

GL al punting today I see a couple are entered for races on Friday I shall be playing on!!

Christmas Day

Well we had a quiet one this year with just the three of us and my Mum over from Hornchurch and was really a day for Max although he does not understand too much about it all yet, his fav present was a big box filled with helium balloons and he is in awe of them still today!! (am sure more expensive pressies will be required over the next few years to command the smile)

Petra did an amazeballs Christmas Lunch with some help from Gordon Ramsey and it was probs the best xmas dinner we have had together, it was sad my brother was not with us but he had a massive fall out with my mum after Dad's funeral and also having patched over their differences again at Max's Christening last year (as posting on 1/1/12) and he now refuses to speak or be in the same room as her.

Its sad as I know how that feels after the bad times with my Dad and also i know the relief of him having brought me back into his life before he passed away and am not sure to this day how much more guilt I would have felt if we had not rebuilt our relationship before he passed.

I hope my brother does not end up with the same feelings in the future!!

I also went to the tree by Southend  seafront where we scattered some of Dad's ashes and laid some flowers on the ground and spent a few minutes of peace and quiet just me and him looking out to sea.

Boxing Day

Iain my brother drove down from the midlands for a boxing day lunch with us and it was good to see him as he has had a difficult year and suffered from delayed grief which ended up in the argument with my mum and effectively ended their relationship for now.

He also had a few relationship probs this year as he is 37 but acts mid 20's is fairly successful in his job earning decent ££ plus we have our 4 rental properties as our pension plus our own props but apart from his marriage which failed after a year despite the fact they had been uber happy for 8 years previous to this he has failed to meet anyone else he would settle down with.  All the girls he has met all seem to have issues but he tends to do things over the net and I'm sure plentyoffish.com is not the place to meet the second Mrs B and also whilst he wants a mid 20's dolly bird on his arm obv most of these have a kid or 2 in tow and at his age I would think he will want to start his own family soon so am not really sure what he should do??

We spent 4 hours of him telling us about these 2 girls he is currently seeing/speaking well he has met one and she is nice but the other he really likes online but has not been able to hook up with her yet (obv a bloke) and this is stopping him moving forward with number 1 who is way out of his league.

Booked a decent win with 2 out of 3 selections itt to claw back some ££

The next few days were a combo of chilling or having to work the thurs/fri in the office although its very quiet so was mostly lurking on Blonde catching up on all the diaries and interesting threads and not having been on blonde for more than a couple of years I have to say Blonde seems to be the best ever atm in my short time.

NEW YEARS EVE

Our first one with Max so we had a small family one with Mum over and that was about it really, I have never really been into New year so much since my mid 20's when it was a case of getting smashed up somewhere or grabbing some sort for NYE.

Now its like I am turning into my Dad as at midnight now I open up the front door to let the New Year in and then open the back door to let the old year out!!

Obviously its the time of year for resolutions so below are a few of mine, nothing to exciting but would be nice to achieve them!!

Happy New Year to everyone and hope 2012 brings all you desire!!

Edit - see Milligan itt I have to find something online and hopefully post itt via youtube as was watching and saw you on telly bud!!
