I have LAYED Garstang in the 5.10 at wolverhampton in the PLACE market £100 @ 2.27 average odds to lose £127

I have absalutly no idea what this Post means!

Sorry Lee, basically it meant that I was betting that Garstang would not be in the first 3 horses in that race and was prepared to wager £127 of my monies and if I was correct I won £100 less comission and if as in this case I was wrong obv lost the £127.
It was on a website called Betfair or BF as people abbreviate where people can back their judgement against others and in most cases the prices are better than a traditional bookie.

Had the whole weekend off and was very DIY Saturday except for watching the various sports on TV, I managed to put together our fire surround from a sleeper (not railway) and make it look ok which is completely not my domain  Wink

Not a winning weekend but am holding my own for the month so far with 2 days left to go and managed to win a seat to the £150 deepstack weekend in Mid Feb last night in a satty for 30 euro as there were only 40 runners and 10 seats gtd!! ( I will only declare any reloads onto my poker accounts in my totals and currently have $$ on and I dont count the online bits I play in my totals just the deposits)

Gutted I wont be able to play the deepstack this weekend due to family commitments and I get to play pretty much when I want so cant complain at missing 1 or 2 events like this or the SPT this weekend.

I have also decided to have another shot at my £40 to £££ challenge but have changed the amount I am going for as £20k as its more realistic and even though I am still a mini degen would not know if I truly would have £60k to win £100k as the final bet as I am looking to start a business this year and the ££ would come in very handy!!

You can find the challenge here   http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=55154.0  and I shall be using my own judgemnet as well as the many fine contributors to the Betting tips boards for my selections!!

I think it's fair to say that you're a standard degen rather than a mini one.

Just because you used to be a huge degen doesn't mean you can downgrade your current status to mini.

True True but I certainly have more control over that side of me than I ever had before and whilst you could never say never could not see myself putting me or family in position I did before!
I guess I grew up a bit!!
