Punting wise not done a lot of movement backwards or forwards as Sunday I punted £100 on Hulkenberg to be in the top 6 at the grand prix at 5/2 and then took my £100 back and punted the profit on Italy beating England in normal time so losing on pens was the nut worst result. Away from that a loser on the dogs and the only other bet had this week was £330 on the Match sixes bet in Tikay's thread winning £240 of which I am spinning the £240 up today on a nitty Portugal +3 corners in the match bet at 17/20 and if this cops spin the lot up on the cricket tomoz meaning we could be level or £750 up come close of play tomorrow. [/quote] Corners bet came in but Total match sixes quote is too high imo and only a few books are laying it so am giving it the swerve.

Playing day2 of the Gukpt Plymouth today 50k ss on an hour clock is a great warm up for the wsop main event I wont be playing and the field is significantly weakened by the abscence of the vegas lot and the prescence of Celtic and Pizzled.
Only 9 players were ko'd on day one and you could have entered 6hours in and still had pretty much ss as only one player knocked himself out in that time.
I fancy Caledonia Lady ew today @ 11/1 magic sign and am backing her singly plus a couple of speculative ew doubles with becausewecan/deaville flyer and allied powers in the 325 haydock.
Plymouth is actually a pretty dece place and I was party yday to a Pizzled spin down and get out of jail card after the end of day one watching Vinny anti-rail him on Blackjack calling in every combo of sweat cards for the dealer before he resorted to getting out of it on 4card poker.
Those were the days....

Nice pick with Caledonia, wish I'd seen it earlier as didn't play in that race and would have had a small interest.
Mind you I reckon I must be in credit for not bokking.

Well I got back from Plymouth and beat myself up enough about my epic spews in the main event and consoled myself with a winning grand prix bet on M Webber having invested £65 at 9/2 on Sat evening along with a cover shot of £35 on Schumi at 10/1 and enjoyed the Sunday afternoon with Petra and Max at home flicking between the grand prix and the tennis before it was back to work Monday.
We currently have 2 work experience girls who started yesterday which we do as a favour to the local schools and colleges to give them an insight into our industry and something to add to their Cv as well and both have applied themselves well to the tasks given so far, then today I had to attend another school we support at their assembly to give a little lad an I-pod touch he won in a raffle we held at their school fete a couple of weeks ago.
It was quite touching really with 120 infants infront of you and the school head going back over the fete day reminding them of our presence and the fact that one of the children in this room had won the prize, then we revealed the winner was from Red class and they all started to look at each other then the fact it was a boy and finally his name began with a D and this little lad immediately stuck his arm in the air and had a massive smile on his face.
Up he came and it was a pleasure to give him his prize and watch him go to sit down holding it close to his chest and the smile never left his face for the rest of the assembly which was really nice to see. We give the school approx £2k per year for various events and whenever they hold an event the area is flooded with our boards advertising the fete or bazzaar so it is well worthwhile the sponsorship in terms of board presence alone.
Was lucky enough to get the timing of a bet 100% right y/day and will post details later but had £200 on something at 5/6 which is now best priced 1/3 and then today have placed my first pre-season punt with a cheeky £60 acca on Uruguay to win group A of the olympics football with Man city to win the Prem League and then J Ennis to win SPOTY which pays just over £1500 so hopefully will get a sweat from it!!
I am also taking a small punt on Sirius Prospect EW at 20/1 for the July cup this weekend, it is not info but it has shortened over the past few days and I availed myself of a little 25/1 and personally thought he ran his best race of the season last time out at Royal Ascot behind Black caviar so will have had about £50 ew by the time I post this...

When this won I stuck a further £20 ew on Sirius Prospect for Saturday at 20/1 so got £70 ew at average odds of 22/1 Today I am on 2 horses EW I have £20 ew on Pearl Blue 4.40 NWMKT at 10/1 having missed the 14's early early despite looking at it in bed at 6.30 this morning topped up a further £20 ew at 8/1 once I got to work £15 EW on Vino Collapso @ 8/1 who I think will like the ground today at Donny 2.40 and ties in some form with Bircham that was beaten into second by Tha'ir who won at R Ascot although the odds on shot does look decent in the 2.40 I hope we show some further improvement and would have liked one more runner for 3 places but you cant have everything. Plus I have a £20 EW double on both as well!!
