13 days in and the tache is coming on good and yesterday I spread the power of Movember speaking to the general public about it when they enquired why I was growing a mo and after telling them they kindly gave me a tenner which went on T1 in the 4.49 Monmore in the Mo Box we have in the office for customers or window lookers with their ice creams in hand down from Romford for the day seeing how much the houses are.

Pretty quiet at work at the moment and the good folk of Thorpe Bay definately seem to be winding down to Christmas which is the worst part of the year for us and makes the days drag. normally by this date we will have sold 8 houses and put 8-10 properties on the market and so far this month it is 4 sales and 4 on the market so just show the volume is not there Sad

Looking forward to the next few days though which consist of

Day off Tomorrow - few jobs around the house, dinner with Vinny and then Day1a of Luton Genting comp

Friday Work followed by an early leave to meet Ed Gascoigne (Father G cannot get back from Cheltenham in time) at Wembley for a meal and drinks folllowed by the match vs Chile

Saturday Work followed by Day 1c of comp if required

Sunday hopefully Day 2 and another final for the boys in the staking thread.

In the middle of my gambling problem (in b4) I was working at a bookies pre slipcatcher time and was scamming them a bit by folding slips through the camera then writing small winning bets on and nicking a few quid here and there but I got greedy and got caught out and it coincided with a relationship breakdown and I really wanted away so moved for a few months to live with my Mum whilst deciding what to do and then loved it down here and went from Gants Hill > Hornchurch (met Petra) > Southend > Leigh on Sea!

You?

Wish my story was a sexy as yours. I moved down because my parents felt they couldn't leave me alone in Scotland, despite me being almost 11.

Out tonight with EdGas to Wembley for a meal followed by the England vs Chile match and will get to see Lamps pick up his golden cap and in a nice touch he will be with his dad who I met when he was doing some property development in Ilford when I first moved down here and his 2 sons.
Really looking forward to it as it is the first England match I have been to and Ed is obv great company and then tomorrow it's a bit of work followed by another stab at the Luton biggie!!

How exactly does one dress for a football match?

I've done my best, sure Eso will confirm that I look absolutely the part later.

I'm that hungover and pasty my face already resembles said flag! I'm up for though - seems a more reasonably option than getting NUFC tattooed across my gut.

Just a quick one to thank Rich again for a great evening yesterday. Whilst the England team were severely mediocre, Rich was excellent company and the whole experience was great - cheers.

As an aside, I see the hospitality brigade taking a lot of stick in the press - not turning up on time, not making enough noise, but most of all being back late to the seats after half-time.

All I would say on this is how is a chap supposed to back for the off if there is a twenty minute wait for Jeeves to bring over a glass of fizz and a prawn sandwich or two? Preposterous Wink
