Regardless of how I played the rest of the hand, do you think I should call the river bet?

Wow now that's a dilemma!!
First glance i think he's drawing, so what would he have?
I say KJ, K10 or 10J.
So i would say you are behind and fold, maybe that's weak but that's a big bet and a lot of scare cards.

You must fold now, but the mistake was not on the river.

The mistake I feel is early on in the hand and you could have saved more money or found out when you are in front. Your position is good, but I don't like the minimum reraise from 4 to 6 preflop. Personally, I prefer a flat call with AQo, but if you are going to raise then you are not holding a monster, so put in a propper reraise and make it up to about 10.

Your flop play will then be much easier to assess or you can lay preflop if you see much resistance. A rainbow flop with AQx is perfect for you and as much as I like to play 2 pair aggressively here, I can understand you not doing so with top 2 on a rainbow.

The way you played the hand, I am in fear of JT the most. He would call your flop bet as he has a double belly buster draw and the case k means you are probably behind by the turn. That said, I still then like your turn bet as it could have been used as a block bet to then check behind on the river, but the 75 punt into the pot now takes that decision from you.

It's a fold, unless you have notes to suggest otherwise on the player

I put him on KJ, K10 I think

Or else you would have seen him raise earlier with AK etc

Regardless of the rest of the hand (you fish!) I would call here.

If he has trips good luck to him and well played. I doubt he has AK.

If he has a straight shoot yourself.

the problem now, is that you cant even beat any ace, which is a real problem, as it impacts your EV on the call quite a lot.

If the board was say AKKJx.. at least we could beat the ace, but as the board is, any ace gets a chop with us.

For that reason, its probably a fold, but its also a great play by him if he does have the ace only, and one that should be included in most peoples arsenal.

I disregarded this at the time as I wouldn't expect him to bet an ace.

Good point though.

At the very least he has KKK, and that's the best it can get for you... Although small he was the first raiser in the pot so AK could be there, althought i think he would raise on the flop bet, is he tricky enough to slow play Aces.. This is where note's would be needed.........FOLD. i don't like any of it
