Elky was pathetic. He's been training a shitload too. Travelling the circuit with a trainer etc.

I think "pathetic" is a bit harsh.
Lex was clearly the better fighter and Elky looked like he was giving away a bit of weight, but he took some big shots and kept coming forward.
Elky's punches were not pretty, but adrenalin dump will have made him forget a lot of his training and he'd be running on instinct.

My first reaction when the fight started was to be critical of technique, but I think both fighters showed a lot of courage.

It's not easy climbing through those ropes.
Got a lot of respect for both men.

Lex utilisted his full range of kicks to perfection, not sure wether Elky had been told to just hammer the body punches or he just had a wild style, either way they didn't cause much damage, he looked like he gassed out pretty early on. Lex also had a very solid left jab, he could have ended the fight a lot earlier on if he showed more aggression imo.

All in all very enjoyable watch and nuff respect to both.

Any links?

The prelims should have been on Facebook as part of Dana's newest little brainwave, unfortunately it didn't work for 90% of people I don't think and nobody got to watch fk all. I had to check Wikipedia to find out my acca was down before the main card had started Cheesy

There will be a link at 1am once the show starts and I'll post it in here Herbie, it's being shown on FX though for anyone at home with Sky

Oh really will get out of bed then. Been watching ultimate fighter on there. Diego and Dodson for me and mayhem to get knocked out. Dodson was a bit of a rat and more of a Bisping player anyway so looks like a clean sweep

Yeah was strange that was working for a couple people and most couldn't get it working. I tried in IE and Mozilla but neither worked...

My first acca went down with Pague so I went back in with a 4 timer on Ferguson, TJ, Brandao and Bisping. Good shout with Dodson Herbie, was the danger by standing up with him that he'd get caught and sure enough he did.

Brandao pulled it out the bag too after geting dropped there and good to see Bisping open up Miller. I'm not so sure the performance was as good as they were saying though, Miller tired so quickly it made Bisping's life easy for the next couple rounds. Not to say it wasn't clinical but Miller didn't help himself by being out on his feet so quick.

Really pleased Bisping got the win.
The more hated he is by the American fans, the more satisfying the win is.

He now has to face someone higher ranked and win convincingly to get his shot.

Looking at the sherdog rankings
Sonnen would be a bad match up but an epic trash trash talk war.
As he's next in line, doubt they'll line up schedule wise.
Okami too easy, and not really a good eliminator after the big loss to anderson.
Munoz, another bad matchup, but I fear the most likely choice.
Maia, I think a good matchup, but can't see it being a big enough draw for UFC.
Stann a bit over rated and only really an option if they want to cement the 'heel' role.

Must be Munoz in feb/mar

Lawl, Munoz v Sonnen has already been announced. Dana said they might sneak Bisping on the FOX2 card at end of Jan.
