Best thing about 164 was Henderson losing, although irritatingly, he still got a chance to remind everything that he can do all things through Jesus.
I wonder, would Jesus touch gloves before a fight?

I was hoping that Henderson would win, but only because it would have meant the blame didn't lie solely with Mir for costing me the best part of £200!

Finally got caught up with the UFN from last week.
Hate to say it, but I think Texiera is massively over hyped.
Don't get me wrong, tough guy, and exciting to watch, but Jones won't break a sweat with him.
Bader had him in all sorts of trouble.

I think Gustaffson will give Jones a fight, but if the champ sees him off, and dispatches Texiera as easily as I think he will, the division is looking pretty cleaned out.

Pretty depressing as a confirmed Jones hater Sad

Just seen the next TUF coach line up.
Frankie Edgar v BJ Penn at 145

BJ at 145??
he could barely get down to 155.

Still, BJ's a legend, so good luck to him, although I think even at the new weight, Frankie has his number.

Sorry to read that Marky147 but Barnet's a Beast, and if he can stay fit and off the Sted's he might get a decent run at the Title.

UFC 165

Lay of the year is Gustafsson, can't see him troubling Jones at all. (As long as the compound fracture is all ok)
A small saver on Eddie Wineland is a must at 4/1, is great value but has a tough match.

Technically he only cost me £20, so it's no biggie.

Barnett definitely looked impressive for sure, the bet was a bit of wishful thinking anyway Smiley

I've gone the other way.
While I think a jones win is the most likely outcome, I couldn't resist a bet on 5/1 Gustaffson.
I think the skill gap between them is a fraction of that between Weidman and Silva, so anything is possible.

Will be an interesting match, as Jones has never fought anyone with gustafsson's reach, but I think Jones will be able to take him down at will and keep him there.

Hope you're right Adam, I'd love to see Jones get ironed out!

Only bet I've done so far is Mitrione by KO @ 7/5 with laddies, gonna have a look for a punty acca once I've had some dinner.

I had that 48/47 as I gave Gustaffson 1 & 3
Good effort. Next time.

Could either of us gotten it more wrong?

Cheesy

I actually gave him the first 3, but it was so close you couldn't expect Jones to lose the belt.

I jumped on with you to get out of it for the day, and we definitely had a big old slice of value pie!

I think there was a good shout for round 2 to be a draw, but they're so rarely scored that way, so for the two head kicks and the elbow, Jones narrowly.

I can't see how one judge gave it 49/46. Presumably the third, but looked clear enough Gustaffson to me.
Didn't change the result though, so no point moaning.
