Yeah, he's a very sharp chap.

He should be fighting for the belt, but he's taking the 3rd Conor fight, and all that dinero.

Fair play to him.  I never heard of him before tonight which is the whole point of him talking to Shaw on you tube to cross sell their viewers so they make more money from advertising.   How much will he get for that fight?  Does it make a difference to the purse if he wins or loses?

Conor is the only one that gets Boxing money in MMA, but he'll have got a decent chunk of change for the 2nd fight, and would think he'll get a sizeable chunk more for this one. A lot more than he'd have got for fighting for the belt, anyway.

Just checked and Dustin got $1m fight pay, plus his PPV points for the last fight, so I'd get another $3m on top.

Conor got $5m plus his PPV points, which was prob triple that.

$750k & $3m if this is right (no ppv included)

Shows you how shit some of them earn, though.

I don't know how you get in a UFC ring when you have made £100m directly and plenty more indirectly out of SM and advertising and media.   How do you even do a training camp for £3m before tax and exs?  It would be like asking Lennox lewis or AJ to fight Del boy for £2m nowadays in the boxing ring right?  he would just laugh and say why? i don't need the cash.   The classic silk PJ's line when you have to get up at 6am for a training run springs to mind

He's just about to flog his Proper Twelve to some massive tequila firm for another $100m, too Cheesy

He prob cleared 20m with his PPV and endorsements, so he'll probably do Diaz II if he loses in the summer and then I would imagine he's done.

i get why phil taylor or barney keep playing darts with far less money but why get in the ring for peanuts when you are worth £100m to get punched in the face?  ufc is clearly the most shafted business in the world wages wise relative to risk even at the elite level.

I doubt Phil Taylor or Barney had living costs of >$1m month.

Way he goes through dough, it wouldn't take long to end up Tyson'd.

Don't think Shaw will be joining Eddie and Thor in the ring any time soon!
