blonde has been going for six years, and of course there are times when it feels like a vibrant community, and times when it feels less so
Within that community, romances are going to happen, and blonde has had a few, more than a few

One such romance, which began at a blonde bash (7) in Nottingham in (I think) 2009 and continues to this day for the now married
Adam and Julie SharplesSharplea was on blonde from 2007. A slightly off-beat young lad from the North West. When I say offbeat, this is the only person that can set a quiz on here where the first question is about a subject that 99% of his audience would be unable to answer ("Name an Avenged Sevenfold song")
Joobie came to us in 2008. She was, I think, very active on Sky Poker in its fledgling days. A bubbly (like a Jacuzzi with the meter turned up to maximum) character from Weston Super Mare, and I think she came across initially to see what tikay was up to.
Anyway these two met. Funnily enough no one saw much of them that blonde bash weekend
Soon they were an item, more than an item, and got engaged and started this thread...

Anyway, the path from that blonde bash to Vegas was not exactly smooth. There were problems borne of redundancy and finance along the way. It took immense financial discipline, in fact, to gather together the dosh they needed to have the wedding they wanted
Both have been immensely helpful to blonde, particularly on live updates. Both sum up the community side of blonde rather well. They don't play poker at high levels, even if there was the cash I suspect there would be other priorities but they will always be at bashes, on quiz threads and rating fry-ups.....
One month and one day into their married life, all the best for the future
