I had a weigh in this morning and was pleased to see 105kg.

That means I've already hit my weight target of gaining 1st Smiley

I checked the waist line and it's gone up slightly to 37" from 36.5" so I'm reasonably pleased with that.

So all I need to do now is maintain my weight and lose a bit round my waist. Because of this I'm going to change my goal a little bit. I'm now going to aim for a 35" waist instead. This won't be for the forfeit as it's going to really really difficult whilst maintaining the 105kg.

The plan is to eat ridic healthily Monday to Wednesday then as well as possible Thursday to Sunday whilst accepting that I love curry and beer too much to quit them completely.

I might throw in a bit of abs training as well which should help to trim things a little bit.

Good stuff from everybody else in the thread from what I can see.

Also as others have said to Girgy. Don't worry about the weight gain one tiny bit. It's impossible to undo several weeks of good work with one bad weekend. Just get back on it and you're all good.
what type of training do you do for the abs mate?

strange twist you in the thread ....weight gain !

what type of training do you do for the abs mate?

strange twist you in the thread ....weight gain !

Nothing too exciting. Just a few twisty turny things, few sit ups, planks, medicine ball type things. Just general toning really to make the abs look a bit better when the fat finally drops off.

Yes it is a bit strange but it's still a diet. Admittedly it's a reverse diet but it's still very hard work.

You should try gaining weight without increasing your waist line at some point. It's surprisingly difficult.

Great food day for me today:

4 weetabix + 200ml skimmed milk + whey protein shake
200g chicken + low fat relish
flapjack
protein bar
protein shake
whey protein shake
200g lean minced beef, dolmio sauce, 50g pasta, 150g mixed veg, 3 x pittas

Totals

2969 calories
301g protein
320g carbs
47g fat

That's pretty much a perfect day's eating for me. Plenty of calories to maintain the weight but very low fat.

I wouldn't mind adding a bit of protein in but it's not essential. As long as I'm over 1g per lb of body weight I'm happy.

If I can stick to this 4 days a week and be reasonable on my dodgy days I should be all sorted by June.

On top of this my training's going really well and my walks with Ronnie are obviously great for keeping trim.

All is good Smiley

Yesterdays consumption: 14 x Pear Kopperbergs,1 x 6 inch sweet terryaki sub, 1 x meatball marinara sub.

Heartburn city ? I love the stuff but wouldn't have more than 2 or 3.

Forgot to update today's exercise.

Did 3.2km on treadmill in 26:16 followed by a 30 minute circuit with my trainer.

Another good food day for me today:

4 weetabix + 200ml skimmed milk + whey protein shake
200g chicken + low fat relish
flapjack
protein bar
protein shake
6 egg whites + 2 yolks on 4 slices wholemeal bread
200g lean minced beef, dolmio sauce, 50g pasta, 150g mixed veg, 3 x pittas

Totals

3402 calories
312g protein
390g carbs
57g fat

Nice to keep the fat content well below 10% and the protein up in the 300s

Awesome training session as well as a nice long walk to top it all off.

Been well behaved the last week and ate chocolate over the weekend instead of a takeaway. Been mostly chicken/rice every meal along with shakes/cookies etc.

I've been snowed under with work so haven't worked out macros although I have still recorded what I've eaten and it's within the ranges I've been aiming for. Not trained this week until today so am going to do a bit of chest/back today then shoulders and squats tomorrow and Friday I'm off to Clacton to drink copious amounts of alcohol all weekend!!
