I'm pretty much sticking to all the 'habits' I am forcing on myself to avoid forfeits, so I am going to add two more, starting next week.

Lee can you update my OP.

My water target is now 2 litres a day, not one.
I also now issue a new challenge to myself, I have to pay £1 every week day where I exceed one portion of bread. So I can have one sandwhich a day, or round of toast, but no more. Thats the main thing I let slip with this new challenge.

So my whole thing which you can C&P is:

Gym three times a week, £5 for every missed session.
2 litres of water every week day, £1 for every missed day.
A portion of fruit at the end of every weekday meal, £1 for every missed meal.
Must post ITT once a week, £5 for every missed week.

Injury/illness meant about 10 days off exercise, quite a useful "exercise" to go thru  as I could see the difference exercise +good diet c.f. good diet alone makes.

Anyway, 16st on the button this morning, next mini target is 100kgs which is about 15st 10lbs.  Get to there pre-Christmas, try not to go back up past 16st over Christmas and then settle into the 15s (no real target, just wherever equilibrium seems to land itself) and try and stay there for a loooooong time.

Vegas trip booked as my 'reward' along the way, which doubles as a reward for taking positive steps, but also as encouragement to stay on the straight and narrow.

Currently owe 2 quid this week for a missed fruit portion and an extra bread portion, could owe more by the end as I still need to do another gym session and I am currently a bit ill.

Cant believe its been a year fatties.

Anyway, over the last 12 months I have only gone back up 6lbs in weight, which I am happy enough with. However, I have a posh do to attend on January 22 and my suit feels a tiny bit tight to button up. So I am setting a short term challenge.

Same deal as previously, with regards to water, fruit, gym attendance (FYI I'm not counting bank holiday days, xmas, NY day etc).

However two new caveats:

Must weigh 14st 2lb or less by Jan 21 (Currently 14st 7lb). £10 for every pound I am over.
Must have completed at least one 10k run on the treadmill (no stopping) by Jan 21 (Just a quick fitness goal to keep my eye on the prize) - £10 if I don't.

I'll add any forfeits to that which I currently owe to charity, which is at the moment £15.

Lee can you update the OP?

Looking forward to all the new year entrants to this thread.

Op updated !

If anyone wants to try again with the weight loss or anyone that looked at this during the year and wanted to join but didn't !!
Now is your chance !
Set your own goals ...prop bets with mates ...anything you like, if we can help we will...
During this year we all worked hard and helped each other ....

Lets do the same in 2013 ...

So far DaveShoelace has set his early goals .....I will follow with mine in the week!

Blonde will make you thin in 2013.....
Good luck all
