Ditto, you can take my silence this year as a guilty plee for eating utter shit all year. I have been to the gym 3 times this week but have still eaten utter shit. Back at hospital on 26th and I am 1st 4lbs heavier than I was when I went last at the beginning of October, I can blame a couple of lbs on Xmas but really do need to lose a stone before then.

Red saw me in DTD and thought I was eating a salad, little did he know I had just polished off a burger and that was the garnish I was playing with.

Not only have I let myself down also let you guys down. #SoAshamed

As usual I am up and down throughout the year, have not perfected the diet, but cut sugars down slightly.

At 11'6 at the moment.

Had a bit of an awkward moment...

We don't have a weighing scales at home as I keep forgetting to pick them up, so I use my aunties.

I always get weighed with clothes on etc, but this time I thought I would get an exact reading by getting fully naked on the weighing scales. All clothes off and weight in, then I hear someone running up the stairs to the toilet, but instead of saying "wait, I'm on the toilet" I shout "wait wait, don't come in I'm naked!"

And had an awkward questioning of why I was naked in their bathroom! Told them I thought I would save on the electric at home and use their shower and got a reply of "we are pensioners" & just laughed. Then I just told them I was getting a reading on weighing scales lol.

I eat two eggs every day Jace, and so does one of my daughters. We buy about three dozen a week.

In the 60s, they used to encourage people to eat eggs. "Go to work on an egg" they told us.

Then somewhere around the early 80s they decided  eggs were bad for you and advised us to cut down.

Just recently they've changed  their mind again, so eggs are currently  de rigueur.

I don't keep hens at the moment. It makes the lads think I'm into cock fighting.

The only upside of moving house is that you spend the last few weeks running down fridge/freezer and lots of takeaways. You move in and spend the next few weeks living out of boxes and eating lots of takeaways Cheesy

I've had great fun over Xmas and the last month, but I think my body is starting to reject Asian food now and the old symptoms are saying GFY too...

I want to maybe attempt an entry into the fry up thread and also have my last flirtation with dial in dinners over the weekend too Cheesy

Good luck though mate, it's obv very important we both wise up and at the moment my nan is moving quicker than I am at 80+

Starting weight; 14st 0.5lb, February 1st

Target - 12 stone.

Week One Target - 5lbs loss.

1st Feb - 14st 0.5lb

2nd Feb - 13st 13.5lbs

3rd Feb - 13st 11lbs

4th Feb - 13st 10lbs

5th Feb - 13st 10lbs

6th Feb - 13st 8.5lbs

7th Feb - 13st 7.5lbs

8th Feb - 13st 7lbs

Current Loss = 7.5lbs

Yesterday's Intake;

1 x latte.

4 x Ryvita with Phili-Lite & sliced fresh toms.

1 x Chicken breast, with grilled fresh mushrooms, 2 boiled eggs, sliced beetroot & pinerapple chunks.

Half pack fresh strawberrries.

Small bag of grapes.

1 x LF Yogy.

0 x Rennies.

2 x NurOfen

4 x small bottles sparkling water.

So, Week One has ended with a loss of 7.5lbs, pleased to bits with that. 4lb in the coming week, & 3 lb over the following fortnight & that'll be halfway, & a stone gone.

I cut back the Latte yesterday, & increased the water intake after a lovely chap PM'd me with some kind advice. Thanks man.

Physically, I feel better already, though mentally the problems remain, & I'm still forgetting little things & getting muddled up with stuff too easily.

Good start though, & this thread has helped, so thanks guys.

Tikay

Why do you take Ibuprofen instead of a proper pain killer for a headache?
Secondly, nut odds on the Ibuprofen causing a lot of your stomach problems

What are "proper pain killers" please?

I don't have stomach problems, apart from indigesation when I eat badly. And an overly large stomach, of course. Wink

Well Paracetamol for starters, Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory rather than a pain killer. One of its most common adverse effects is upsetting the stomach and digestive systems

Some of you guys wanting to lose weight should have a careful look at what Tikay does over the next few weeks and see what he achieves.

It really is ridiculously simple if you genuinely want to do it.
