Tomatoes and beans?

The purists won't like the addition of chips with a fried breakfast either.  However, I'm impressed with the accompaniment of Tic-Tacs with this breakfast, shows planning and experience.

(think you should post this on the breakfast thread really)

Not sure about lager with a breakfast either.

Obviously lager is amazing but I really can't see how it works with a fry up.

Hey tikay,
I will update op with your good self as soon as I get to my laptop.
why so many Nurafens?
How many calories on ave are you eating ?
Glgl

Morning Lee.

The Nurafens are because I have a permanent headache, & have done for several months now. I was hoping that the diet would help me feel generally better, as I've not felt so good of late. A non-stop headache is like toothache, it makes me tetchy & intolerant, & I don't like that.

Thought I'ld post this regarding use of tablets, seems there's a good chance they are part of the problem rather than a cure. Admittedly coming off the painkillers doesn't sound much fun either.

Hope your diet continues to make you feel better.

Thanks Simon.

It's a cyclical argument, perhaps, but I'm almost addicted to the tablets now now, & the headaches are really quite trouiblesome. I am feeling a little better this week, except for the bonceache.

The weight loss didn't get off to the best start, but then I knew it wouldn't as I had a poker home game on Friday, beer and pizza it was then. Saturday and Sunday were better, including a long walk in nearby Dulwich woods.

However, since Monday I've settled into a good routine and thanks to Red Dog's link to MyFitnessPal have been able to track my food and exercise intake, plugging in my goals and how many calories I'm meant to have per day, exercise etc. It's brilliant and although it was a link to Tikay's latte intake, thank you Tom for alerting me to its existence.

The diet, like I said would be the easiest part and porridge for breakfast, homemade salad for lunch and then fish, steamed veg and a handful of gnocchi  for dinner has been my standard so far. Along with a few cups of tea or coffee, a couple of bananas and some yogurt with blueberries this takes me up to the daily goal of 1,450.

Exercise - have been for one run, targeting three this week, second one is planned for Thursday and the third on Saturday or Sunday. Although I'd say it's a coin-flip as to if I get three in or not.

Drinking less - fail at the weekend, success so far during the week.

Weight: no idea, not weighing myself till Friday.

"Long-term use of ibuprofen can sometimes be associated with reduced fertility..."

Quite the opposite.

"Not tonight, Dear, I have a headache"

"Here, have a NurOfen"

Impressive spelling TK. I wonder how long you can keep it up?

Not long if I keep taking NurOfen, it seems.
