Good luck all, there has been some fantastic yet simple advice itt of late. Lifestyle change is the key, whether that be hydration, fitness, diet and so on, the key is gradual steps to improve health.

Soviet - let's see how your improvement rates against your workers, go from your base time of your first run and with the attitude and work you are putting in, I very much doubt you will be last amongst workers. I would wager that you will be closer to being the most improved on original efforts. Keep up the good work, remember that hard work pays off.

Thanks mate. My main aim is to catch one of the other "big lads" he didn't complete the 5k in the first week but managed just under 30mins in his second week.  I will try & post the table.

I've never enjoyed running but the feeling I get after completing something I didn't think I could is fantastic & the improvement over two weeks is incredible. It makes me want to eat healthier too, just so I can improve my time!!

I must return to a diet-regime, with immediate effect.

I was down to 12st 5lbs in early December, but I've managed to binge-eat my way back to 13st 6lbs now, it's making me feel unwell again, Rennie & Nurofen intake is back to max, & I'm lethargic.

Initial target? 13 stones by February 17th, which is 3 weeks away.

I'll probably continue beyond that & try & get down to 12 stones, but for now, 13 stones 0 lbs by 17th Feb is the target.

Off we go.

Good luck, hopefully a doddle.

Trust me, I will not fail, this is as easy as pissing. (Prostate probs excepted).

Smiley

Feeling that same confidence but I know for nearly a fact there are a few guys on this forum that would lay me a bet I would not be able to get to 17-16 stone by the summer, as I have made ludicrous claims before on facebook i was going to get rid of it all and failed. I may start making in roads towards setting it up, and everyone will think it was a long con. Would be beautiful.

Congrats Soviet and Ant, awesome efforts

Soviet if you knocked 2mins off in one week you will be smashing 30mins in no time. You really do reap what you sow with running and quickly.

Personally my diet has been poor the past week. Too many carbs.

Abs smashed the gym at the weekend though, still sore as hell today with the old 'bandy legs' still in effect walking down the stairs.

Exceptional work, Lee. How do you feel overall? Are you starting to feel fitter and/or healthier?

Really good going guys, keep it up.

I have had a bit of a mishap this week, remained vegan, that was fine, but underestimated how ill i would feel after having a pint of coke and a pint of strongbow when i went out on Tuesday night and it threw me on Wednesday too. Had some Vegan sausages too that tasted great but didn't sit well on my stomach at all. So Wednesday and Thursday were write offs for exercise. I think i read somewhere that is you go vegan and stay there for a while, I am nearly a month in, your stomach really doesn't start to react too well to when you enter any sort of crap into your body. The cider went down okay i think actually, it was probably the coke that done me. All could be in my imagination too, who knows, trial and error needed.

Going to see see if i have an intolerance to any type of foods through trial and error because i seem to get indigestion quite quickly even on days when i am eating well.

It may be a wheat intolerance. Had potatoes, rice and veg in black bean sauce today and no such indigestion happened, but will check up on it as i go along. Weigh in, will be on Mondays. This has been a slow week on the exercise front so i won't be surprised if i didn't lose any weight, but nearly sure i haven't put any on either.

Boring myself writing this. Will keep the post on Monday short and sweet, it will be the weigh in and a short round up.

Weighed myself this morning at 18st 1lbs

I would like get down to 15 stone eventually but taking each stone as it comes and keeping it off is the main aim.

Weighed in this morning at 17st 10lbs for a 5lbs loss in the first week.

Today I weighed in at 17st 6lbs for a 9lbs loss in nearly three weeks.

I weighed myself at the beginning of December and I was 18st 5lbs so nearing a stone loss total from where I was back then.

As of this morning I now weigh 17st 4lbs.

2lbs loss for the week which I am more than happy with.

Thanks for the support as well, it means a lot.
