Well, my time for Vegas is upon me. I haven't been very active on this thread this time around, but I have been pretty active in general this time around.
I'm going to give myself a 7/10 ~ currently down to 16.75st which is ok, but not breaking 16.0 which is what I wanted. However, I feel in pretty good shape and fairly fit - for example Sunday I played 8 (yes eight) games of singles badminton in an evening, to a decent standard. At Christmas, I was blowing out my arse during the second game.
Perhaps the best part this time was there were no fad diets, no real diet at all really, just making healthier choices at meal times and not eating late at night as often as I used to.
See you all here when I get back

This is so crucial. This is what it's all about.
I've recently seen some of my friends from school who have done what a lot of people my age do; they eat everything they see because when you're in your early 20's you can get away with it and then BAM! You're 25 now, you need to look after your cholesterol, your insulin, you need to choke back the occasional salad, and you need to move around a bit. Now what they want to do is hit a magic "REVERSE" button. They piled all this weight on without realising, and now they want to quickly get back to being trim.
"28 days to a leaner you!"
"Get ripped in 4 weeks"
"Take this juice diet"
Holy shit. I even saw someone selling meal replacement shakes to other people in bulk so that they can sell to other people in bulk. Pyramid schemes, artificial ingredients, deluded young girls. It's horrible to watch. This one girl posted her progress pictures, and granted she's lost plenty of weight over a few months. But guess what? She would have done that without this nutjob meal replacement fad. She was massive; she would have lost the weight she did just by taking a 30 minute walk every day and cutting out the soda.
This was supposed to be a short post, but I guess this stuff just incenses me!
This is not about "being thin," this is about "making good lifestyle decisions."
Drink water, eat smart, move around. Simplicity.

Right; a while back I posted the recipe for my favourite breakfast. I later found out that Rexas "didn't like the look of it tbh." That got me to thinking - if Rexas can look at something made of food and not want to eat it, then I'm probably doing something wrong! So, I got myself back in the kitchen and perfected this recipe. I also responded to the egg yolk backlash and, after careful consideration, I've allowed you to keep one of your precious yolks! I still eat it almost everyday, but I look forward to it about 16.5% more.
Here it is, then:
Rancher's Omelette V2.0
IS TASTY FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODD!
Ingredients
1 Whole Egg
4 Egg Whites
2 Turkey Sausages
1/4 White Onion
1/4 Green Pepper
1/3 Pointed Red Pepper
3 Mushrooms
25g Havarti Cheese
2g Olive Oil
Method
Prepare all of your ingredients first, so: whisk your eggs together in a bowl, finely dice the onion, and roughly chop the rest of the vegetables.
Pop your olive oil into a frying pan and bring it to a medium heat. Cut your sausages into several pieces directly into the pan using food scissors.
Once the outside of your sausage is cooked, throw the onion and the veg in and stir fry for 4-5 minutes. Once cooked, empty the contents of the pan onto a separate plate while we cook the eggs.
Pour your eggs into the pan and cook until it reaches your desired texture. Transfer to your serving plate and top one half with the havarti cheese. Pour your sausage and veg mix on top and fold your omelette in half.
Yatta!

Let me know how you get on with this one guys. I'll have another dead simple, super tasty recipe on the way shortly.

World Cup has been tougher than i thought to dodge casual 'beers' with friends for games in pubs. Still disappointed not to have lost a couple of lbs over the last two weeks although one was with gf and included several meals out.

I know another 2lb gain seems bad but I've Been working away and I've tried to eat better but it's very hard.
I fully expect to have two losing weeks now I am home.
My daily food was this or similar
Breakfast:
2/3 bacon
2 poached eggs
Beans
2/3 rounds of brown toast
Orange juice & tea
Lunch
Baguette with tuna or ham & cheese
Crisps
Cake
Some days a can of coke
Dinner
Either a witherspoons meal
Or Toby carvery
Or pie & chips
Normally 2 pints of carling
Some days I didn't snack at all ......but some I did .... Well I found a really nice fudge shop 😳
