says the man who loast a £1k prop because he couldnt be arsed to go?
I think some of your motivation techniques on this thread need looking at! Im not saying your wrong, but pretty sure if you were working, jetlagged and hungry/changing diet you might have missed a gym session or 2?

You're a clown.
I did 4 months of good gym training and had an injury. Pretty much my first ever bad injury. I couldn't train properly for weeks. It messed me up as I'd lost all the progress I'd made and then had Vegas. Was a huge blow mentally too.
Ok I lost the bet for missing a few weeks but got on the bandwagon pretty quickly and doing very well now.
Sometimes my advise might seem harsh. I like every one of the guys who post on this thread and I think they all know NONE of my posts have anything but the best of intentions for them.
A lot of them just need their way of thinking towards food and health. I've done it myself (and still doing it) and understand what they're going through, and just saying what I think is best to get through it.
If you want an argument, I'm on skype - feel free. Please don't pollute the thread with your pointless trolling.

Not in the first few weeks I wouldn't.
It's fine if the lads are in the routine of it, missing the odd session is going to happen with standard work-life routines but it's important to not let excuses slip in early doors.
Woodsey said something about his sleeping pattern being off and Simon G said he just felt lazy. Do you really think either of these are proper reasons why they can't fit a workout into their day? I didn't say they should run 15 miles, but getting to the gym is important because it's always easier to say I can't be arsed.

I'm not stopping them.
I'm trying to help them get through it in the best way possible. Might not be the easiest way, or the most convenient, but trying to make them do it the best way for them with the weeks and months coming in mind.
If they feel my posts are hindering them from getting through week one, I won't post anymore.
For the most part I think you're just trolling me for no real reason.

I think having a gym at home can be just as hard to get to. You're lucky to have one there obv but often when at home, we are in the chilling mindset. Soon as you get in routine you'll be good as gold.
The times I've re-started at the gym, I've hated the aches you get in the first few weeks. After that though, the aches become really nice imo.

The most important objective at the start of your gym membership is to just establish the habit of going, because that is the first step to a lifestyle change. A lot of people fly in with all guns blazing and try and achieve too much too quickly and lose the love very quickly. You hurt like hell the next day and hate the thought of going back anytime soon to slog away on the treadmill again. My advice would be to try and make the experience enjoyable so you look forward to return visits. Start with very light sessions, take yoga class, then nice relaxing spa session. Getting involved in a regular class creates a habit and relaxation makes future sessions something you look forward to. Once going to the gym becomes part of your life you can vamp up your physical objectives with a better chance of lasting success.

Here's a diet plan to help
If I eat something like this everyday I don't put on weight. Take very little exercise.
Breakfast - 2 coffees, milk and 1 sugar
Two toasts or a muffin with butter. One half a muffin or toast with 2 slices of salami, speck or something like that. One half with cheese - blue cheese or some kind of camemberrey type thing.
Snack - bag of minstrels
Lunch
Bacon, Egg, Tomatoes, 1 slice of toast, cup of tea with milk & sugar at the local to work cafe.
Dinner
Pork Chop or Roast Belly Pork or Home made lamb Burgers or Steak (don't eat much else), with either pasta (if pasta, usually has Pesto & parmesan) or potatoes (home made oven roast chips in a little olive oil), cabbage or spinach or something like Mozza & tomato salad.
Probably one more hot drink in the evening with milk & sugar
I don't really eat any cakes or biscuits or other snacks - occasionally may have a slice of toast late on with butter/peanut butter or cheese
Around 3 l of water
