Reckon I might have a bash on the pads later, variety of exercise keeps me interested.  Smiley

Cant beat half hour on the pads. I mix it up 3 times a week with the trainer. Got him friday so will do weighs sesh then.

Just found out my dad is paying me an impromptu visit this wknd. As i see him about once a year I will certainly be having a few beers. On the wknd of the 4th Feb my family is visiting, 2 of which i haven't seen for 11 yrs. (obv very close..) then its LVTC live wknd which i plan to be a complete mess for! Apart from those I have been turning down stag dos, nights out and birthdays left right and centre which is good because I am also trying to save monies. Was gonna buy some beers called Michelob Ultra as they are extra low in carbs. but with 3 crates of stella in the garage it would just be an unnecessary cost. 2012 is the year of repairing family bonds.

I don't think even I could undo the 16lbs I have lost already in just one wknd. Gonna blast the cross trainer every night so i don't feel as guilty. I never thought i would feel guilty for planning on boozing it up. Not even sure why i do, or what the guilt is for? does everyone get this? certainly not something I am used to.

Only got 2 weeks of shakes left and am planning on mixing it up a bit in Feb, so get posting your recipes.

Definitely this.

Can't beat someone actually punching you in the face to get you moving quickly and not caring how knackered you are.

If you can't spar make sure your trainer tries to whack you with the pads every now and then. Just a light swing to get you actually ducking and diving a bit will make all the difference.

I really miss fighting Sad

LOL just did my first ever boxing with pads in a gym. The most com moment was having a quick go at the end on the little pad on the strings that springs all over the joint when you hit it, I reckon I was hitting air 80% of the time  Cheesy

weighed myself at work today, have been off for a week so couldn't do it Sunday, was 15st 10lb.
Amazing to be honest, during week off have eaten far too much crap and not done any exercise at all. Had spent the time off doing shit like clearing the loft, render repairs and plastering repairs though, so probs burnt some calories on that.

Diet 18/01/12

2 Bags of Crisps
Snickers
3x Pitta Bread
Chilli
400g Chicken
MP Cookie
Choc & Banana Protein Shake

Protein 191g
Carbs   193.5g
Fats    70g

Cals   2231

Got the munchies in hospital this afternoon while waiting around and bowled through a couple bags of crisps and a snickers. First slip I've had really, I was feeling pretty pissed at how things went with the dr and went into comfort snaffling mode on the vending machine while I was waiting to see the physio

I was expecting him to dish out a couple more drugs to try and alleviate the spasticity as he'd said he didn't fancy a baclofen pump for me this early. That's obviously changed now and he's thinking that an intrathecal pump might be the best solution.

Can't say I'm overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a 31 year old Robocop but if needs must and it works I guess I'll have to give it a shot. I would have to go up to London for a week or so as a patient so they could trial it at various doses injecting into my spinal cord and see if the efficacy is of a level to warrant the implantation. On the upside if I do end up having that done I could ask them to liposuction me up when I'm on the table and that should see the 2 stone off in a couple hours Cheesy

Just wanted to post a quick update. Other than a tricky few days over the weekend I'm back on the horse. Im hoping to make up for last weeks gain with a new target of 2kg this week.  No nandos thursday which I will miss but rules are rules!

I'm going to walk home from work today, around 3miles. Hopefully make it a regular occurance as I detest the bus!!

Today I tried sushi for the first time. Only that cheap stuff from boots but quite enjoyed it. Nice change from a sandwich and soup!!

Girgy is a m'fkn machine.

My missus joined my gym this week, so the last couple of sessions I had have been a bit more relaxed while I show her the ropes before her induction. Well worth it if her going gets me there more often (She isn't fat or owt, not sure why I feel I must mention that).
