16:2 this morning.  3 lbs lost on the week and 50 lbs total.

My best week so far.  Half term, so a couple of family restaurant meals on top of the food re-introduction I have been doing.  Still kept carbs pretty much off the menu and have yet to introduce much fruit.  Altho fruit is obv good for you, it's a tough foodtype to reintroduce, so will be doing it slowly.  At the moment, it is mostly shake for breakfast, soup for lunch, shake mid-afternoon and grilled meat + salad for dinner.  Will be dropping the mid afternoon shake shortly and introducing a snack in place, including fruit.  Oh, and I bought all the ingredients yesterday to make a batch of chilli tomorrow, one of my favs.

The reason this is my best week so far is that although it isn't the best absolute weight loss I've had, the mental piece is slotting much better than hoped for.  None of the choices I have made have felt like deprivation.  Altho subconsciously I have been swerving excessive carbs, I have been making a lot of free choices of what to have.  I'm sure the key for me to maintain long term is to continue to want to choose the tastiest options as the norm, and to have anything else once in a while.  If it feelt like deprivation in  the past, it usually led to a bad outcome..

Last night I cooked sirloin steak and served it with a mixed leaf salad dressed in low-fat fiery ginger+citrus with a sprinkling of cheese and croutons.  All from M&S, about £18 for two.  I enjoyed that about 10x more than a £30-£35 ruby that I would normally have had.

For the next 2-3 weeks, will be very very happy with maintenance; any weight loss will be a bonus, breaking 16st would be good.  By the end of that, I will be off meal replacements altogether.
50lbs loss is just wow wow wow

have you any before and after pics Simon?

i bet no clothes fit !

we should both break the 16 stone barrier next week mate ....mine to follow!

well done Simon really well done!

14st 8lb, so I have put on 1 1/4lbs.

Not too worried to be honest, as I outlined a week ago, I knew I had three big meals ahead of me (Tuesday 5 course valentines meal, friday pizza with a mate who is back home from living in London, last night meal out and drinks for a mates birthday). I worked pretty hard at the gym all week, and on the days I did not have a big meal I ate pretty well, so I guess I was hoping to maintain the weight from last week, but hey ho.

Coming up this week, I have another mates birthday meal/night out next Saturday (then I think a clear run of no birthday meal type things through to the end of March) but other than that nothing too heavy, so I am aiming for 2-3lbs weight loss to get me back on track.

Week loss -5lbs
Total loss -25lbs

Got all my meals planned for the week ahead which are low cals and low carbs, so with some exercise Next week I am hoping for another 5lb loss, then the week after I am gonna hardcore it to try and lose 9lbs so i can be 22st dead for LVTC. Looking forward to hitting the skipping hard this week as well, really knackering and lots of fun, especially now i have a proper size rope.

For any people who struggle with finding stuff to snack on the go i have found Matthesons little bags of various meat snacks to be pretty decent, I am also loving Colman's season and shake things, just bung a load of meat in a bag, add a bit of salad after and job done.

Keep it up fatties.

Galloway has obv fat boothed Steven Gerrard in the first pic! vwp.

Boom! Back in the game with a 4lb loss weighing at 16st 6lbs so no £50 fine for me. Also that takes me to a 1 stone total loss. I'm exactly on target now so if I fail even once over the next few weeks I'm going to risk not reaching the final goal and having to pay some money out. Anyway, I'm aiming for a 3lb loss this week.

So is there anyone who has slipped under that radar that isn't reporting in? I haven't gone through the OP in detail.
