Been really hungry the last couple of days, eaten more too, but still eating cleanly.

Appetite increase due the gym work, steadily increasing the weights now and not injured yet

My jeans come, broadly, in three sizes (with a few pairs of in-betweeners): skinny, regular and fat. My fat jeans are huge. I bought them several years ago in Las Vegas after too many buffets took their toll. Their usual purpose is to put them on when i'm feeling like a bit of a bloater, then take comfort in the fact that they are far too big for me. Alas, no longer - as of Friday night my fat jeans are the only ones that fit me Sad

So - into action today. Tipping the scales this morning at 10st 6.75lb. I'm looking to lose around a stone, but my primary goal is to fit comfortably in my skinny jeans again - a stone should do that. To that end, as well as weighing in on Mondays I'm going to choose one pair of jeans to try on once a week to measure progress, and will post pics here. First one coming tonight - you have been warned!

WARNING - the pictures contained at the bottom of this thread may upset those of a delicate disposition.  Would not advise viewing whilst eating (although, on second thoughts, if you're trying to lose weight, it may help!).

So, my plan.  Nothing drastic.

Food wise I snack far too much on chocolate, cakes etc - that's all being replaced with fruit and low fat snack bars.  I won't let myself skip breakfast - it's usually on the move so will be breakfast biscuits or a cereal bar - maple pecan plaits be banished.

Evening meals will be healthy and balanced, and I will remember that if a recipe says 'serves 4' that does not mean '2, really'.  Leftovers will not be shoveled down as second helpings, but saved for the following day's lunch.  I'm also going to make an effort to eat more slowly - I really am terrible for just inhaling my food and not taking time to properly chew, savour, etc.  It also means my brain isn't getting the 'I'm full' signals until it's too late.

On the exercise front, I'll be looking to cycle to/from work at least twice a week (ideally this would be every day, but it's difficult to fit in with my schedule.  On the days that I do get the tube to work, there will be NO getting the bus from the tube station to work just because it's coming and I have an oyster card.  That's over two miles a day.

Finally, I'll be aiming to run a minimum of 5k at least twice (and ideally three times) a week.  That'll be parkruns on Saturday mornings and 1-2 runs on weekday evenings.  I'm going to find a 10k to sign up for sometime in November to keep me on track there.

Probs gonna smoke more too.

Just gonna post links to the pics - see I'm nice really Cheesy

Resting pulse down to 60 bpm.  Cycling been having an effect

Saw Jamie Oliver do a thing on telly last night where he blitzed a cauliflower in the food processor, then microwaved as a carb-free alternative to rice. Might give it a bash tonight to accompany the hairy dieters chicken korma. Yum scrum Smiley

Made the cauliflower 'rice' thing tonight - Jamie Oliver is a bloody genius! Also feeling full up for probably the first time since the weekend Cheesy

Three days in and noticing a difference already, which I guess is down to losing water weight and therefore feeling less bloated.

Current Weight - 14 stone 3lbs.

Target weight 12 stone 7lbs.

Loss required = 1 stone 10lbs, which is 24 lbs.

Target date?

30th October.

Off we bloody well go again.

Kendall Reporting in.

Been bad with the Updates, but good with the diet.

13st 8.5lbs today, so a loss of 9lbs in two & a half weeks, which is not so bad.

This one is going to be a long one, but my head is in the right place, & it'll be fine, & by the 27th September, the first stone will have gone, & I'll be 13st 3.5lbs or less.

Last weekend was very difficult, as I was up at an SPT, & as I can't touch casino food, I had to have a brekkie on Saturday & Sunday, but little or no damage was done.

Am eating plenty still, just one meal a day., but a proper whopper, & a huge bowl of fresh fruit for afters. Rennie intake is down to Zero, the indigestion has gone completely, though I have shocking wind. It's actually quite pleasing.

I ache a lot today.
Upped the weights yesterday and added more compounds to make a longer routine. Nearly threw up afterwards, those who have lifted will know exactly what I mean.
Not eaten that clean this week so far, way too many carbs.

A slow and steady start for me this week.  Food-wise I was really good up until the weekend when Saturday saw Dan making some delicious homemade bread that I may have sliced rather more thickly than necessary Smiley  Yesterday we squeezed a final bbq out of the Summer.

Only managed one 5k run on the exercise front, but probably covered around 15 miles walking here and there over the course of the week.  Still, plenty of room for improvement.

Starting weight: 10st 6.75lb
Current weight: 10st 5lb
Loss this week: 1.75lb
total loss: 1.75lb

A good weekend for the diet, & lost another 1 lb, weighed in at 13st 7.5lbs this morning, for a 10 lb loss in just under 3 weeks.

Hoping for a stone loss in Month One, & may miss that by a lb or two, but no matter, it's all going nicely, & I'm feeling very much better already.

13 stone by the end of October is very much achievable now. With any luck, I can get down to 12st 7lbs just in time for Christmas, then I can put it all on again by the end of February. Perfect timing for starting another diet to get the weight off by Vegas time in June.

It all makes perfect sense.

No weight loss this week but I am not surprised as had a bad weekend on the carbs. Training sessions were good last week though.
Gotta put a huge effort in this week
