Murray played well, Djokovic is just too good.

Nadal will be happy with the 5-set battle though.

Murray just proved he can beat Djokovic at his best imo. So sick the 1st serves he put in when down those breaks at 5-5 Sad

End of the day, Murray is playing in the era of the two greatest players of all time plus Djokovic who will probably go down in the top 5, certainly the top 10.

Disagree with you Tighty, the game where he battered Nadal for a set and a half then crumbled off one bad shot was a joke, today that didn't happen. Djokovic was unbeatable for a set and a half, Murray stuck in there and come so so close to having the chance to win, just unlucky today for me.

Murray is playing in the era of the two greatest players of all time

Laver, Sampras, Borg, McEnroe

Two of the greatest, not THE two greatest, I think

Murray=Timeform Squiggle

That's incredibly harsh.

Murray simply isn't as good at tennis as the other 3.

Mac himself says Federer is far better player than he ever was.

I think if any of the 3 play at there very best for the whole match Murray will always lose, but when they don't, and that's very hard for anyone to do, he certainly has a good chance.

In any other era he'd have multiple slam titles

Today he was superb, djok was also superb, it could've gone either way. Criticising either player is just ridic

I'm going to have to google them both now to compare at the same time.  I thought on the tele they looked very similar actually

At 5-5 in the 5th he had two break ploints. A real champion wins that game. Over 4-5 years Murray has only asmall minority of these matches in the last 4 of a major

Yes the other three are better, but a real real battler wins a few more than Murray has done.
