Also as has been said before make sure you get the NI number sorted for tax reasons as the nugget dont help you in this like the rio and will tax u 30% withholding tax without even thinking about it. One of the downsides of playing at the nugget.
Don't think you can get an ITIN on spec
When John Tab and I were playing at the Bellagio everyday, he chucked the guy behind the cash desk $20 and he sorted him one out.
So it's like most things in Vegas
It was in Caesars when I needed one and the TD filled in forms, paid out the full amount and said the IRS would send on the number. (which I didn't ever get, but one of my friends did)
Anyway the point is that you don't need an ITIN to get paid in full, just someone who gives a fck about customer service* and fills in the right forms.
*presumably the nugget card room staff don't

Getting the deuce bus is a 1 hour journey as it stops everywhere ,how ever the dtx downtown express has fewer stops and is a lot quicker a6/7$ ticket gets you 24 hours use
It's not too bad if your not in a rush plus the arrival n departure are right outside the nugget

There are 2 buses that you can catch on the Strip that go Downtown - the Deuce (double decker & stops at EVERY stop) and the SDX (gold single decker that only stops at limited stops). The double decker Deuce buses run 24 hours per day, but they stop at every stop and therefore it takes ages to get Downtown (45 mins approx). The SDX only runs from 9am to 12.30am and stops at limited stops but only takes about 20 mins from the Strip to Downtown.
You can catch the SDX from the stop outside the Wynn and also outside the Paris (obviously the Wynn is the closest to Treasure Island). Coming back from Downtown you can catch both buses just along from the huge pelican crossing at the bottom of Freemont Street and when the SDX reaches the Strip you can get off at the Fashion Show Mall (opposite the Wynn) and at the stop between Bellagio and Cosmopolitan.
$6 for a 2 hour ticket and $8 for a 24 hour ticket, or you can get a 3 day or 7 day pass. You need to purchase a ticket at the bus stop before you get on the bus. The ticket machines all accept cash (notes) and some accept credit cards. I think there's a ticket machine outside the Wynn, but if there isn't there is definitely one opposite at the Fashion Show Mall bus stop.
More details here....

The nugget staff only care about lining their own pockets. They will deduct the 30% tax and keep it for themselves and if asked just say the guy was from uk so no issue and he was paid out in full. I got round it by flicking big fat yank john, the general manager of the nugget, $100 to get my $5500 weighed in without any tax problems. Then all of a sudden the NI number wasn't such an issue.

If you accept a payment with 30% deducted they have to give you the W- forms showing the deduction. So think it very unlikely this is true. Just laziness on GN part probably

I copped $3k from a slot machine in New York New York, they would not pay on a driving license, had to return next day with my passport but were very helpful with forms and sorted tax right out. Got my confirmation a few weeks later. Tipped the guy post transaction but certainly wasn't a you look after me I look after you arrangement.

They only have to give you the forms if you are expecting the forms. The vast majority of foreign tourists playing at the nugget wouldn't have a clue and/or expect the forms. It's a nice way to pad out the xmas bonus fund for the staff.

If you accept someone taking 30% off your prize with no paperwork I guess you deserve to be ripped off. Maybe the NGC need to know if this is true?

Far enough in 100 degree heat, and it's not bad if you want to pick up some crack on the way to the Venetian
None personally, but iirc it's behind the strip?

To stay at Stratosphere, I'd want to be dressed as Kurt Russell in Escape from LA.
I was looking at the Holiday Inn place but then I think someone ITT said that road was where Tupac was shot.
Happy to be wrong on both...

What dates you looking at?
I'll spend 1/2 an hour splashing around some sites tonight for you. Hopefully I'll be able to save you some money, and some body parts
