Does anyone know any better ways to try and get a better deal through booking flight & hotel separately?
I've found that using Norwegian Air from London to LV is £169 & LV to Manchester is £240 with TC. Compare to the £750 return with Virgin.
But I still can't find a decent hotel deal. A hotel that's on the strip. Is it a good deal to pay $1250 at TI for ten days & this includes resort fees? It brings the trip to £1400.
fwiw, TI despite its shoddier look than some of the others, was really smart inside. i stayed for for 5 nights easter 2015 and its great in the rooms. keep fishing round for deals though if i were you

I've been working on them, but my psychic powers aren't quite up to scratch yet, and people that want help still have to tell me when they're looking to go away.
Don't worry about letting me know when you're going... I can't walk the length of my house, so I won't be travelling up to Yorkshire to burgle yours

Cool, will have a look now.
I've never really been one for sarcasm, though.

Grand all in for your hotel looks pretty good, if you want to be on the strip.
If you're not worried about being on the strip, you can get the Four Queens for £515 with lowcostusa, and there is no RF to add.

I have flown Norweigan before (short haul) and on the surface they were perfectly good. There were no issues at all with my flight.
But looking through PPRUNE the other day, there seem to be a fair few issues. They have had industrial action with their pilots. They have bussed in crews from elsewhere in the World. One of their planes took off a few months ago with the stewardesses not in their seats (communication/language issues?). The financial situation isn't allegedly the best either. There is one enormous moan thread there. From what I remember a lot of issues are around long haul.
I am busy so can't do links and can't remember everything. But yes they are very cheap, but there are issues. Do a bit of research before flying Norweigan.

Can't help but think if they only charge £169 from Gatters to Vegas, it's hardly gonna be world leading quality. Pretty much, we get what we pay for. The exception to that rule, of course, is Ryanair.

It might be, yes.
Then again, maybe not.

It costs a lot of money to buy, staff, service and maintain a plane. When I am 30,000 feet in the air I am happy to pay a fair price for my ticket which allows the airline to properly maintain the plane. Small airlines are notorious for cutting corners on plane maintenance.
As tikay said re it being a bargain, maybe it is and maybe it isn't.

I'm with you there bud.
Vegas is the annual poker highlight for me, & it needs booking 5 or 6 months in advance - I really don't want to be fretting for 6 months wondering if my Airline is about to go busto, or has wings.

The difference is quite large though, this isn't a difference of give or take £50, but instead £350.

Yes, we get that.
If someone offers me a new car which is sold for £20,000 everywhere else for £5,000, I'm generally gonna be very wary. The greater the price differential, the more worried I am gonna be.
It matters not a jot to me, I & others are just making you aware.
He who dares & all that & I hope it's the bargain you think it is.
